AND WHEN has that really worked? yanks won with a team they built through the draft mostly.. no one has a cap in baseball so the yanks still have to compete within that environment...

Not always a hot ticket. Remember just a couple years ago: Starbury no star + sucky team = no national TV. I can clearly recall a couple seasons where we never got a nationally televised game: 2008-09 was one.

right because we had no stars, and the knicks we were in court getting sued by a former employee, ever since amare signed we have had a good amount of national televise games, once melo signed we avg about 25 natianal telivised games..
Since theres no more rivalries in he NBA and very few super stars, teams that do have super stars will get the air play regardless of record, but since were the only team with a super star and a horibble record, it is what it is..

I guess the advantage keeping those Knicks games on the broadcast schedule is
1) you get to harp on the Knicks' troubles
2) you get to talk about if Melo stays
3) you can focus on the opponents going into the playoffs
4) CAREER NIGHTS FOR EVERYONE!
