His play is very frustrating. It's like he gave up but still gets respect from media members.

He came out strong to start the season, but after breaking his leg he's back to Flu Tyson levels of effort. It makes a HUGE difference when he's active. Crazy thing is that the defense was better when Bargs was playing C while Tyson was out.

Chandler is a waste.
yellowboy90 @ 2/28/2014 8:22 PM
Like clock work. Haraway can give up buckets like nothing.

Man - did anyone watch the pre game show? I only caught the end but they were dogging NY. Basic discussion points were:
1) Melo is a winner on a bad team - he is not going to re-sign with the Knicks
2) People do not want to come play in NY

I have been thinking both of those things for a while but to hear it being openly discussed on national television is rough. If I was Melo I would run for the hills - he can get on a better team, sure it might hurt his bank account but he will be fine.

The more concerning think is that NYK is no longer a draw for people. Sure there is nothing like winning in NY. But NY also has some of the highest taxes in the country, the weather is awful from Late November through March and sometimes in to April, the media is harsh, Dolan, the list goes on. I just don't see players wanting to come here.

Agree about bargs. I think Tyson has been in mills ear trying to get Woodson fired all year. Not a good look for your strong locker room guy.

It has been 3 years and this team still tries to pass to Tyson when it is not a lob. This is just another example of low IQ's on this team.
nixluva @ 2/28/2014 8:26 PM
If Tyson isn't going to give effort then put one of the young guys in there!!!!

My dad is a huge Cuse fan. We talk everyday and he wants melo to leave the Knicks. Feels like he is wasting his best years in ny. I know his friends feel the same way.

Knicks need to give Aldrich minutes tonight.

You'd think they'd know this by now. Poor coaching IMO. You need better decisions from your PG. Teach them to pull the ball out if they don't have it or do the Nash dribble around the paint until you find a better passing angle. Knicks guards force it too much, especially Felton.
Dagger @ 2/28/2014 8:29 PM
Felton is playing aggressively but he's so fricking demonstrative just shut your mouth and play ball.

I think they are right. He is talented, has an NCAA championship and a gold medal. He is a winner and this franchise is wasting his talent.

I have loved the Knicks since I was 14 but honestly, I am starting to sour on the franchise. They are clueless.

Except Tyson is much less engaged if they aren't throwing the ball to him. They shouldn't do it but...

sealy @ 2/28/2014 8:30 PM
I don't get why lame duck Woodson doesn't just sit Tyson for a game.
yellowboy90 @ 2/28/2014 8:30 PM
Melo has to pass more and quickly
playa2 @ 2/28/2014 8:31 PM
#1 problem Carmelo isn't a PF, he can't defend or position reb like one.

He should be playing SF. It should be Chandler Tyler Melo Jr And Felton

Can't see why not. This late in the year might as well let this guy show what he can do. WOuld also like to see Melo try and get his young bigs involved. Tyler is often just wasted out there. He's got enough game to be more involved than he has been so far. Defenses drop off him so set the kid up!!! How about some PnR for Cole to help him out. These are the things i'd like to see Melo do.
