Knicks · Where is Dolan to explain what is going on (page 1)

To the highest paying fans in the world? 1year out of the last 15 and it was an aberration What is the strategy style of play leadership lack of heart. You owe an explanation fat boy

The only explination i want is why is woodosn still coaching, but then again, when was the last time a ny coach got fired mid season..he just doesn't do that..
OasisBU@ 2/28/2014 9:44 PM
He had no problems holding press conferences with Isiah.
I am surprised it's been so quiet in Knicks land.
anrst@ 2/28/2014 10:06 PM
why does it matter what he or mills say?
I know providing public access is the decent thing to do ... but why does it matter, really? it won't change the fact we're run by idiots.
gunsnewing@ 2/28/2014 10:17 PM
It would actually be a slap on my face if they came on and waxed poetic about how great things are
That is what Layden and Isiah used to do

All this WHUPPINGs serves the Owner JDolan right, the Knicks mgmt brass, Steve Mills and Coach woodson Getting what they deserve, embarrassed regularly now OR NBA game Ass_beat downs every day in February. And Knicks can't do a damn thing about it! Knicks may never win another single game this season.
NBA Foes telling Knicks quoting Billy Jack Billy Jack, nba foes to nyk I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face ... & not a damn thing you can do about it. I just go BERSERK!
The normally useless Steve Mills and Unavailable Owner Dolan believes fans need not hear a thing from them On state of Knickerbockers, Bunch of Ass_ess in the Garden and rich people. Why is Steve Mills finally showing up at games looking horrible & stunned.
Knick owne J.Dolan is too sh_itting arrogant to loyal NYK fans feelings superfans as Spike Lee. However Boss Dolan do like Melo.
But if you're MELO why stay? Only Carmelo Anthony can fix this by STAYING Or Leaving.
ESPN Robin Lundberg says if Carmelo (CAA) Folks sit down with Dolan and tell them what it takes for Melo to remain Melo should demand simply:
1) Ask Dolan to Bring in a respected GM, whom will have savvy with league GMs & has track record to build team 2) Melo needs to get Owner the GM whom handles baskeball business & Ask JDolan to keep the F_ck out of NBA business for experts on getting players, roles to fix gaps including developing young talent, to compete to wins.
Melo should leave KNICKS definitely if JDolan cannot meet 1 OR 2 above & if Dolan relationship with Melo is as rumored Dolan may listen.
Doesn't it amaze fans? that the Garden doesn't make a statement NOR seem bothered by the negative publicity of being a pro organization embarrassment in New York City, the mecca.

The camera zoomed in on mills tonight and last night and both times he was turned away. Not sure what is going on.

"He had no problems holding press conferences with Isiah."
True. Puzzling, or not. I can see a lazy owner not caring if the team wins or loses, as long as the place makes money, but I'm surprised Dolan's not concerned, say, that the press might notice his music if the stink gets stinkier or that people might start questioning assorted tax breaks that benefit the Knicks. Or, it's not puzzling and Isiah was/is his bro and Woodson isn't.

He(Dolan) is an idiot, he had a chance to rebuild in 1.5 years, listen to retards like Holfresh and Isiah Holfresh loves to bash posters here and ex Knick's players and promote Melo
It is funny how he has been wrong so many years about talent and yet he talks like he is 100% right about everything he says, it is amazing how posters like continue to be such arrogant, stubborn, and dish but can not take
posters like Holfresh, ChuckBuck, Jrod, Papa6yearold, Anibus, and a few others has big balls with no brain or vision, with the way they continue to post...

RonRon@ 3/1/2014 1:25 AM
if Dolan doesn't want to trade Melo, look at what Philly traded Turner and Spencer Hawes for (1 2nd round pick for each, we could have gave them a much better offer)
Starphuq all the way and get Thad Young and Tony Wroten Melo is not staying with the Knicks with this team
Iman for OKC's 1st rounder
Turner Thad Young Spencer Hawes
Tony Wroten
for
AB Chandler *possibly 3 team trade with OKC* 2018 2020 2022 and a couple of 2nd rounders
That package is much better than getting 2 2nd round picks that they got for Turner and Hawes We get younger, more athletic, deeper, and quicker
Tony Wroten (as a stoppage PG and future develpment PG) Turner Melo Thad Young Hawes
Felton/Pablo JR Tim Hardaway JR STAT Tyler
Kmart Cole Alrich/PG
in the summer use the 3m MLE to upgrade PG with
Sessions Collison Bayless Vasquez Mo Williams
Resign all of Philly's players and Melo or decide which SG's to trade in the summer OKC's 2014 1st rounder draft pick Our own 2015 1st round Draft pick Buy a pick or 2 with 2nd round pick with the 3m we could use
All these moves would make us 10x better than we currently are, retooled with youth/athleticism/versatile players, and giving a coach players to build a WORKING philosophy to work with
Philly does it because they will continue to suck and get many future assets, while still having cap space for 2015

As Isola pointed out, Dolan only crawled out of his hole at the beginning of the season because he thought the Knicks were contenders and wanted to take all the credit. Reality set in so he's back to hiding again. The good thing is that Dolan's name is being mentioned more in the national press about who is responsible for this mess. Sometimes you look at some of the faces of the talking heads on TV and they look uncomfortable when someone blames Dolan, maybe because he is a huge media mogul. At least the SOB is getting the kind of publicity he doesn't want and can't control. Just desserts.

I don't remember if Simmons named Dolan specifically last night but he definitely trashed Knicks ownership. I was surprised to hear it but welcome the criticism, our franchise has become the laughing stock of the NBA.
Nalod@ 3/1/2014 8:59 AM
The stock price does his talking.
THe little shyt does not explain things so why would he start now?
Who demands of Dolan? Fans? Revenue? League?
Value wise the knicks and lakers are the bell weather franchise's. Both with bad records. League is doing fine without them.
League has been growing nicely over the last 30 years. MOst of them without Knicks being good.
Mills from a corp structure standpoint is an upgrade from Grunwald. I know that seems funny, but look up his resume and he was heading into the league office as a well thought of executive. What most of us want is a a "backetball culture guy", a Donnie type who talks and breaths basketball. They maybe Mark Winkey dink and Hughes, but you not going to hear them talk. I'd like an extrovert GM type who can be more transparent to what we are doing.
Do you know what sells tickets? Telling people what they want to hear.
Briggs, I think that when we as Knick fans wear that distinction we basically have to accept the fact things are what they and unless your a season ticket holder you don't have a voice. Writers will continue to slam the decisions made by them.
Things with the knicks just don't add up. We trade no. 1 picks with no protection for players that don't advance our record to justify those trades. Eddy, and now Melo. Last year it added up.

One of the biggest criticisms of Mills is that he has never run a team on a daily basis. He has never run a draft, or completed a trade but he is credited as being the guy behind the McDyess trade. Grunwald is very respected among his peers and with agents. Mills allegedly was hired because he has more 'cachet'. Not a lot of substance to that in my opinion. If he operates as president and hires a qualified gm and stays out of the way maybe that is a good move. Mills is supposed to be more into the analytics then Grunwald but Grunwald's peers have said that he was up analytics so this appears to not be accurate. Also, there was an impression given that Mills was going to be a more media friendly gm and the Knicks in general would be more transparent. The trade deadline was not successful. Not sure where you see the upgrade. Also, I don't have a problem with a Knicks gm that doesn't reveal his plan. We had that. The knicks let everyone know their plan to clear cap and who they were going to draft. However a competent person would be nice. No upgrade keeps Chris when your back up bigs are KMart and Stat.

Hey Ron Ron why don't you just buy the team or just shut the hell up.Oh you don't have the money Ain't nothing you can do or I can do to change this. I have my opinion about things and so do you. So if you ain't got a pot to piss and all you can do is complain. You and your hate crew have no power but the power of complaint. Why don't you set up a meeting with Dolan. But no you can't, all you can do is sit on your azz all day is complain and no one hears you. They don't even know you are alive. Your opinion means nothing and so does mine. But I choose to stick with the knicks why don't you leave and put yourself out of your misery. I hate whats going on right now with my team but I won't abandon them. That's what diehards do. I say fire Woodson and get rid of 80% of the players but we can't.

Curry was Isiah and Dolan having some sort of misguided faith in him (at least that's what I believe). Melo is bringing in money for Dolan which is all Dolan really cares about at the end of the day.
