Knicks · If Knicks make playoffs, do you keep Woody as coach? (page 1)

Unless we make a '99 run which has a .000000001% chance of happening, "you're fired".
ToddTT @ 3/8/2014 4:56 AM
If we make the playoffs, I'm going to buy a unicorn.
IronWillGiroud @ 3/8/2014 10:00 AM
4.5 out of 8th isn't that bad with 19 games left to play!

Perfect answer. I can only +1.

No no no no no no no no no no no

Papabear Says

I thought he was a defensive coach. I don't know what he is so he's got to go because anytime a coach can't get his team to prevent layups and 3 point shooting and then make the other teams regular players have their biggest game ever he has to go.

rammagen @ 3/8/2014 1:59 PM
no the point that he lost the team can not be overlooked as well certain players not developing has to go on coaches as well the players. A zero tolerance coach is needed someone with enough cache that the players will respect him. Who that is though....
CrushAlot @ 3/8/2014 2:07 PM
I think the Knicks need a new gm who brings in his own coach. If somehow the Knicks have an amazing run and go deep into the playoffs then you have to consider it but I think there will be someone new on the sidelines next year. Have to wonder it it ends up being Calipari.
OasisBU @ 3/8/2014 2:42 PM
Absolutely not
TheGame @ 3/8/2014 3:15 PM
I would like the Knicks to fire Woody and go after Karl. This team is never going to play great defense with the roster we have, so you might as well hire a coach that knows how to get the most offense out of a team (while still putting together a decent defensive scheme).
IronWillGiroud @ 3/9/2014 8:56 AM
3.5 out of 8th with 18 to go!!
Jmpasq @ 3/9/2014 9:26 AM
Only way he stays is they make the playoffs and knock off Indiana or Miami in first round. Me personally though , no way id keep him
smackeddog @ 3/9/2014 12:36 PM
Ha, one person has voted to keep him- Woody is that you?!

It was me. I'm a big Woodson guy. I think he is one of the alltime greats. A master of the hardwood

haha well that was close to the hype when he came in

TheSage @ 3/9/2014 2:13 PM
Not saying how I voted but it would be a tribute to Melo, Stat, and the rest if they could make the playoffs with a coach who is lost in the woods. Woody may be a nice man, a good man, a wonderful human being but hasn't engineered a winning adjustment since becoming coach of Dolan's Disasters.
nixluva @ 3/9/2014 3:59 PM
No way I keep Woody unless they got out of the 1st rd. He just hasn't shown me any real evidence that he's a top level coach. I'm positive we can do better than Woodson.
mreinman @ 3/9/2014 4:09 PM
MDA's lakers have been playing lock down D of late.

Second the motion.
Woody's got to stay if we make the playoffs. Especially since PJax ain't coaching, and anyone who's any good is not leaving where they are.
