The Knicks resurgence is in part due to Melo and Stoudemire finally respecting one other on the court.

Anthony is passing the ball with purpose, instead of as a safety valve. Amare feels phenomenal.

I'd also have to say I really like jr in the starting line up he's done a great job on both ends of the floor. Especially passing the ball, that's one part of his game that no one really talks about. He's a shooting guard that has nice court vision. He's also attacking the basket like he did at the end of last year.

Shump is great coming off the bench he brings a defensive mindset/spark off the bench. Also I think he will have time to develop his offensive game as a bench player. It's more time on the floor for him without melo. He'll shoot more without being criticized,and that's what shump needs practice with shooting... Shump with boost his confidence with the bench role and become the animal we all know is inside this young man.

Thjr has all the makings of a potential star... He needs to work on conditioning and defense, also a offensive move with the ball but that will come because he is so gifted offensively. Great 6/7th man off the bench for the next year or two. Till he takes the rains as the starting two guard. He's gotta dethrone jr. Which is gonna be hard.

Jeremy Tyler what can I say, I love the kid he has all the skills to be a star big man in this league. I honestly feel this kid makes chandler expendable, for a really good point guard. I think Phil will see this as well... He doesn't have to have the ball at all to be effective on the floor. He can shoot from anywhere inside the three. Nice fade a way. Nice back to the basket moves. Can throw down dunks with the best of them.. Understands the pick and role.. He is still a work in progress in terms of aggression on defense(to many fouls) and he needs more time on the floor, to polish his offensive game.

Prigs is perfect as the second unit floor general. He can get the kids (shump, thjr, Tyler) the ball and open looks, he also can hit the open three.

This rotation should have been going on since the beginning of the season... I think we would all be singing a different tune if this were the case.

The tone is already set and hard to change .

Once the tone is set. players play off of that..this is something melo has a hard time doing and chandler is so limited offensively he needs another leader/ tone setter in the game.

Stat also holds a high standard for his teammates, also something melo needs to work on. He won't accept dogging it and he's not afraid to let you hear it.

It's hard to get wins with your vocal leader as well as second best player is sitting on the bench to start games and only coming in for 20 meaningless minutes. No crunch time minutes or starting minutes.

Like I said stat was just like melo growing up a star type of nba player. How would melo do playing 20 meaningless minutes in a game.. He'd prob wouldn't be able to deal with it and demand a trade. Also stat not just being a plus 25 when he's on the floor... He's really picked up the defense getting blocks we have been missing from chandler all season... Yea he's not a great defender but he's not David lee bad and stat blocks shots and again holds players accountable for dogging it. Even if stat gets beat he's still trying 100 percent. Also he's looked pretty good defensively, especially blocking shots and creating momentum for the whole team like he did in the third quarter last night in Philly.

Lee is a better defender than Amare.

I must admit though, Amare over the last few games has played inspired defense. I used to be told that it was not an effort issue just a low bball IQ. Guess he must have gotten smart quickly
