I am going by what Guns said when he started the thread. I usually read the thread before responding.

Sorry SAS opened his show saying he spoke to his Knicks sources and that was the latest and the hold up was Mills involvement. Phil doesn't want him but Dolan offered more money. That's what he intimated at least

This is why I'm concerned. It's the same crap all over again with Dolan and throwing money at a big name gm

Knicks have a ton of network games coming up. They want people to tune in so they are keeping them in the headlines when they are basically irrelevant in terms of basketball and the playoffs. They've been playing the drama card all season.

Completely disagree. He has an extremely high bball IQ and he is a very good passer. The problem is that he is not willing to pass enough, not because he is dumb, its because of selfishness and narcissism.

Zen does not need to teach him how to pass, he has to teach him how to want to pass. When Kidd was here, he told him pass the ball and the ball will find its way back to you. That helped a bit but not enough.

I bring him in at 15-18 per if phil believes that he can work with him.

saying he is dumb is saying that he does not have the capable intellect so you can't teach/rehabilitate a dog to speak Flemish.

I think his bbiq is extremely high as a passer. He just believes too much in himself.

The only weakness that I see in his bball IQ is the lack of pump fakes.

JROD, you have to admit that Melo needs to move the ball more and when he does not, it hurts the team. I think that he is 10-15 because of this and if he would average 5 dimes a game (which he certainly could) he would jump closer to top 5.
