only on radio until next week when he'll be on FoxSports1

Interesting. Players are brought up in AAU ball to excel as individuals and put the ball on the floor and ISO. Melo is part of this generation. No more team ball in high schools. Phil wants team ball. A 5 guys involved in their roles

Dolan interview replayed at 5pm..
gunsnewing @ 3/18/2014 5:00 PM
From the Phil interview with Francessa looks like Phil thinks he can get the rest of the guys in roles that will make it easier for Melo to score

I'm loving this

Woodson has a foot out the door

holfresh @ 3/18/2014 5:03 PM
Yeah..Woodson is done..Phil wants a guy with a system..No JVG either...

Yea… actually hearing the guy he's somewhat sympathetic…

gunsnewing @ 3/18/2014 5:12 PM
Dolan on with Francessa RIGHT NOW
Allanfan20 @ 3/18/2014 5:14 PM
I enjoyed the interview. Dolan did himself a nice favor and Kay and Don LG asked solid questions and got answers.
holfresh @ 3/18/2014 5:15 PM
Kay and ESPN has stole Francessa's thunder..They had both Phil and Dolan on before Francessa did...

Should be more in depth since he's going 2nd but probably won't be

I think Dolan's interview defused the protest scheduled for tomorrow ..
playa2 @ 3/18/2014 5:18 PM
Dolan sounded like he likes to drink a lil with the uh ah da um rhetoric.

Big time. Hey I guess it was somewhat successful. Got Phil inked and Dolan went on a day long speaking tour extravaganza!!

DrAlphaeus @ 3/18/2014 5:23 PM
Yea why would you protest now? You've got Dolan handing over all basketball operations.

Phil plan has been in the works since December… and it's funny that "oh!" I-didn't-think-of-that reaction when Kay asked Dolan why he didn't just go on one of his networks with Al Trautwig and talk to the fans directly when things were going in the crapper, even if he couldn't spill the beans. But he thought the media/fans weren't going to be particularly sympathetic and they "looked inept" thus the media silence.

Yea I don't think it's the sauce, sounds like a nervous vocal tick… may explain why he's not doing interviews left and right.

To many dah, um uh um, not genuine, but kind of clever and slick former substance abuser BS guy.

Kay: uh ... John Mara, Prokorov (I liked that one)

Yea the awkward pause after Prokorov was priceless.

Anyone complaining about the Melo trade, looks like Prokorov is really the reason IMHO. Dolan really didn't want him over there, in addition to wanting him here… hence his opinion that the price was right.

Dude was honest..also said we would have had to pay Gallo, Chandler and they would be here now...He said that would be our team...Saying but not saying that wouldn't be a good team...
