We don't have an offense that helps to create great shots at the basket. This is just as the Suns announcer just said a PREDICTABLE offense. No flow or deception to throw off the Defense. It's just horribly easy to defend what we do. We can't run with teams like this so we have to slow the game down.
One team plays with energy and the other is lethargic..Knicks need to make the Suns defend the rim but they are letting them off the hook trying to match their jumpers...It's how the game has changed..

PHX is +9 rebounds in the first half..No hustle..
a) Coach is clueless.
b) Prigs is old, really a backup (that's kind of an excuse). But Felton is just an atrocious point guard. At least Prigioni tries to run a team. Felton can't. Making him the PG for this team was dumb.
c) JR's frustrating but he seems to be trying within what he can.
d) Hardaway, Stat and Shump are players that work best in systems.
e) I know Melo's limitations. He doesn't have the court vision. He also needs a good system.
Fire Woodson. Yesterday.
Dragic had a put back between Melo and Felton...

Felton doesn't know how to read defenses. Therefore he can't adjust or move the ball in a way that exploits defenses. And he doesn't know how to play defense. There are backup point guards better than him. Should've traded for one of those backups.

Seems like Tyson checked out a long time ago. He's no longer consistent with his effort, but I think part of that is the awful defense this team gets from the PG spot. How many times do you want to have to cover for Felton and Prigs just getting their doors blown off? It's also having to keep playing this awful defensive scheme Woodson uses.
On top of that this offense is dreadfully simplistic. Any team with a decent defensive scheme will shut down what we do, cuz it's so stagnant and dumb.

Just look at how clumsy we look on offense! We have to work WAY too hard to get a good shot off.
Then we make all the wrong moves on D. SMDH!

KMart injury REALLY hurt this team. Still they would have issues with Felton and Prigs on D, but KMart cleans it up better than Tyson.
At least they're starting to go to Amar'e more right now.
