The only (west coast) game that I saw him at was in LA? And that was just to stick it to LA for passing on him (again). And having Ron Peace in the box was just an FU to Woody and a nice way to tell him that no effin way is a loser like you gonna touch my triangle.
We are paying him 12 million dollars a year and he can't even show up to games on the west coast?
Not a good sign at all. Was this just a money grab for him and a face to give to the press for jimmy d?
I wish that Jax would hire a real GM to work under him like a Ryan Mcdonough. Jax looks like he is and will be in big time lazy mode. I read somewhere that in his last year with the lakers, he barely practiced with his team.
I am catching an ugly smell
Nope, what does attending games teach him that he doesn't already know at this point? To be honest I don't think he's really starting the job properly until the offseason- will select GM, coach etc. he needs to focus on that first- I think they only announced him early as a PR thing.

I thought that the knicks were on the west coast and he should be watching his players and rating them. See who are the keepers etc ...
Is he hiring a GM? I thought that Steve Mills was staying?
Dunno ... not an impressive start and he ain't gettin younger.
Do you blame him for not watching this team? Like us he's probably seen enough to know we need major changes
Didn't he refer to the knicks playoff push as "their playoff hopes"
Berman did a article the other day questioning his decision to stay off the west coach trip, and honestly speaking he's here to change the culture.
I don't see him being some smooth deal maker that will have everyone come running (Gm's and players). I don't see players flocking to san antonio for lesser money to play with duncan and them, and you sure dont see San an sweating big name Free agents.
All you need is the right kind of players in the right kind of role, and a professional stress free atmosphere...skies the limit
perhaps he didn't feel that was the most efficient way to figure things out?

I don't know, is the media circus still in play everywhere he goes?
Metta likley was telling him about the team. Does he need to satisfy mreinman? We have to see him? Maybe he is in a box and not engaging the media? Maybe he just too tired, old and lazy as you say?

He needs to satisfy mreinman and all the rest of us. He needs to get down and dirty not just photo ops. Is this just a show or is this real?
Did he start yet or does the clock start ticking after the season?
Has he started teaching yet?
We in two weeks now? I wouldn't touch the team if I were him.
Let woodson have his space and he got the team playing well.
7-3 the last 10 games.

If for some miracle we make the playoffs then I don't want woodson to have his "space". We don't need woody enabling JR and Melo to jack up awful shots in the playoffs.
I would like to see Pjax starting on Melo already and removing his low quality shots from his arsenal so he can be more efficient. I hope that he is already talking to him. Is there a reason to wait? Is he scared that Melo will walk so he does not want to rock the boat before he signs?
I hope that Phil has more success changing Melo than he had with Kobe because Melo does not play defense like kobe and does not/will not have the super supporting cast. Phil could never get Kobe to play the right way (offensively) and it really irked him.

What Team Presidents you know of that travel with the team?

I would like to see his as much as I see Riley - which is a lot.
He could have gone to the west coast games. He should go to the east coast games as well.

he's waiting for this season to die. who could blame him?

I see him a lot at home games but seldom on the road (with exception to NY).

I did not say that.
I said that he is seen at the games (certainly in Miami) and that I would like to see Phil as hands on as Riley is not just a guy that sits home and watches tape.

You are probably right. Is that the right message? Maybe it is. Maybe he could care less about the playoffs knowing that we this pile of sh1t we have no shot.
As a fan, I would still like to watch my team play playoff games and maybe even get one miracle upset.

I guess Isola and Berman have already commented on how they can't find Phil to personally interview and photo Jackson at games, we'll add you to that list. It's growing.
Phil is being very suspicious, being team president and all, he should be very visible and make sure to be video'ed etc for us all to judge. It's where they make their mark. I think it's how Bird grew Indiana.

I am not sure if you are being sarcastic but I will assume that you are.
Are you okay with him just sitting home? If yes, how about if its not just this season but next season too?
I love jackson and I was as thrilled as the rest of us that he was brought in. I just wish/hope that he would/will spend more time with the team.
I don't care if he is being video'd or photo'd, I just want to know that he is very active. And, if you are trying to change the culture of a team, don't you think that its important to be very visible (to the team)?

When Jackson starts making moves, Im sure he will become more accessible. If the season had just started I would be bothered about it. Lets see what happens if we make the playoffs.
