Melo just wants to shoot especially the last shot. Lets be fair when was the last time Melo made a big shot to win the game? Not this year
I don't think Felton wanted to give Melo the ball that far out, but Melo ripped it away and then just literally went out of control yet again. He was just incredibly brutal tonight.
melo is like 0-his last 18 to win a game....n we are like 1-20 on final shots...not clutch!!!

Double whammy loss--lost a full game to Atlanta and now we are two full 2 games out in conference play--which essentially means we have to be one full game better than the Hawks.
The Knicks are really 2 games back (because they don't hold the tiebreaker) with just 5 games for them to play. I'm not saying its over, but the math is saying its over....
The plays were designed to go to Melo, which was the 1st mistake. How about running a set that will force their defense to have to rotate before we give it to Melo. THIS IS WHY I HATE WOODSON!!! Melo is OFF HIS GAME, so why are you running plays that have only one option???? If we ran plays that included everyone else from the start then maybe someone else could come thru, but we run something for Melo only and why have STAT on the floor if you aren't going to at least have him be an option on the play??? Make the defense have to guard everyone and not just work to stop one guy!!! WHY FORCE IT TO MELO WHEN HE'S OFF HIS GAME???
If I didn't know better Id say that Woodson is throwing games. At least there would be some logic to it if he stood to profit from losing. There is no logic to running the same "play" over and over when it hasn't fing worked in a couple of seasons. Get Woodson the F out of here already.

That SEALED the deal on getting rid of WOODSON!!! How can you watch this game and not notice that Melo just didn't have it together tonight??? If this man had anything more to offer then the same damn play to close out games EVERY DAMN TIME, maybe we'd be a playoff team this year. WOODSON SUCKS!!!

Phil's hire sealed the deal. Everything he said he valued in a teams play was the complete antithesis of how Woodson had these guys playing.
In the 3rd quarter Melo was getting that ball to Stat. On the last play he decided to take it on his own and totally f'd up.

If you believe Woodson is his press conference than Melo broke that play, which was supposed to be a two man game between him and Stat.
