Have heard speculation that hibbert might have post concussion syndrome.

Missed opportunity for the hawks. David west had a huge gaMe
gunsnewing @ 5/1/2014 9:52 PM
Pacers winning this series and I'm rooting for them. It's gonna be heat pacers. Pacers are the only team that can make it an interesting ECF

i have never seen a first round defy my expectations like this one.

I might be wrong but I don't think there are the typical front runner and superstar calls and that has evened the playing field.
Finestrg @ 5/1/2014 11:44 PM
Remember when DeAndre Jordan broke into the league -- nbadraft.net had the Dwight Howard comparisons. D12 was on top of the world and this dude was just trying to make a name for himself. Funny how D12's game has fallen off some and this kid has really improved dramatically. Never thought possible but he's a better player than Howard now. Just saw him taking a hit off an inhaler before tipoff. Didn't know he had asthma...Glad it's not stopping him.

Klay Thompson has been completely unimpressive.

I am really impressed with Collison's on the ball defense.

NumberTwoPencil @ 5/2/2014 1:44 AM
Klay Thompson faded some toward the end of the season and, yup, he's been so-so in the playoffs. Not sure why Thompson has faded, maybe a nagging injury?

Game 7! However, it looks like David Lee will be the only big man left standing. O'Neal will presumably be on the bench (along with Ezeli and Bogut) after tonight's injury.

NumberTwoPencil @ 5/2/2014 1:47 AM
If GS can pull off one more win . . . I'd favor them over either Portland or Houston, even with Ezeli/Bogut/O'Neal on the bench. The Clippers have been tough.

CBA leaves no great teams and in the middle the teams are very evenly matched. Teams at the lower seeds needed to fight to get in while the top were more relaxed. its a formula the NFL has had for years. Teams can go from worst to first in two years. NBA CBA hard cap might not be so fast but teams can change quickly. The Paradigm shift has occurred. and it will change frequently. Could SAS be the last great long term team? OKC was on that trajectory but financial restrictions necessitated the Harden trade and might have curbed a 10 year run. Not saying a Celtic run but say 2-3 chips over 10 years.

Nets on one side, Toronto seemingly rebuilding on the other!!!! One can see the nets either being eliminated or surviving and beating Miami and perhaps to the finals! Its that balanced!f

Stern left the league in good shape for now.

i'm scared sh tless for this next game. i hope we can close them out. every game is a pick 'em and comes down to the final mins. if i wasn't bald already, i would be by now. we got bent far back yesterday but didn't break.

things are looking bleak for the nets i have to admit. williams and blatche have had very little floor impact, johnson has been erratic. your team has a promising future but i think lowery is playing over his head right now.

i picked nets in 6. i was wrong. still picking the nets to win the series in 7 b/c i have to give the benefit of the doubt to the team that has been there before plus the league wants that nets/heat matchup.

with that said, we play defense and we play with heart - we take on the image of our leader and that's lowry. he's playing like a star right now but if you ask most people around the league, they knew he could do it, it was just a matter of adjusting his attitude and feeling like it's his team without looking over his shoulder. ujiri had a major sit down with him before the season started and laid it all out and he's responded. imho, he is this generation's billups.

we have 2 starters at 22 and 21. derozan is 24. amir is 26 and lowry is 27. we have all our picks and some of yours. we also have a very tax/cap friendly salary situation soon. i shudder to think how good jonas is gonna be when he turns 24 (and that's still 3 years away) things are looking up. if we can get to the 50 win area and become a 2nd round team, i would call it a major major success over the next few years.

and smacked - sorry about bargs. thought he would at least be ok with you all but he may really be done.

The biggest concern might be Lowry's sore knee.

we have alex mckechnie - dude is the best sports doctor out there. lowry was hobbling on one leg at the end of game 3 and amir on one ankle but their recovery is unreal.

These series are making me think this rigged. Max out the dollars send everything to game seven.
dk7th @ 5/2/2014 8:43 PM
good old ass whoopin' at barclay center. i still don't have a lot of faith in williams but at least we will have a new york team in a game 7 on sunday.
CrushAlot @ 5/2/2014 9:47 PM
