Manu healthy, Mills is solid and Manu is healthy. SAS came within 15 seconds of winning last year and they are vastly improved this year.

Diaw had 8 pts, 9 rebs and 9 assists! From a guy gotten on waivers! He passes. Splitter passes. SPlitter knows where he is going with the ball. Kawhai had 14 rebounds, Timmy had 11!
Miami after its big 3 are limited. Lets not kill them, it is the finals! But this is not about Miami's failure but SAS depth and ball movement.
Heat are not getting production from its role players. In past years they had better support from them. They are little older and Mike MIller is not here. Nobody is rebounding for them.
As a coach this is what I would do i.e Miami
This team has been brutal--they cant score and they use too much burn on D with no results.
This is what I would do. I would move LBJ to PG removing Chalmers for now inserting Mike Beasley at F
and give more minutes to Cole and Haslem on unit 2 for defense(relying more on Cole to also get me some points and make some plays for others as well.

I love how the spurs play ball, pop has taking MDA system and perfected it, only they are just as effective defensively, the rotate like clock work. Boris was damn near a triple double every night under MDA.
IF we cant get odom to play like him in a trianlge, thats at least 8 more wins then last yr.
When the heat put Douglas, Chalmers, and Wade on the floor at the same time, I knew they were grasping for straws, serious over..
Oh this is all about Miami's failure alright. 5-6-7 chips were bandied about by the duperfriends.

Not just MDA. They've taken aspects of the triangle, rick adleman and other successful offensive coaches. One thing I wonder about is if Fisher is going to rely more heavily on the three point, especially the corner shot, like Pop has in recent years. The Phils triangle has relied on mid range Js in the past. Fisher may be inclined to tweak that given the success the league has had with the three ball.

Don't forget to add Anthony Davis to that list. But yeah, Leonard's progress the past two years has been amazing. The dude is truly capable of impacting the game without scoring.

I dont watch enough of Durant and know he is super special on the O end of things, but is he in the same category on D as Paul George or Kawhi?

I love that the Spurs is executing at such a top level. So pretty!
I remember when the spurs trashed us by 40 early in the season- it pretty much destroyed our remaining confidence. Maybe we over reacted!
