Oh and Be no is playing big time playoff minutes but was not good enough for the Woodson!!!

Artest said the guy would kill it in practice

Sure, he was playing against felton!

Damn great point lol

was he being guarded by felton last night?

That's how much today's game has changed...I would have taken it to Beno every time down court and make him play defense..But OKC couldn't wait to run up court and jack a three...

How come no one used that approach when we had Beno on the floor? The game's changed that much since mid-way through the regular season?

Imagine, a former player has a good moment and we go off lamenting like he would have been a season turning player!

How did he do in a knick game? DId the system or the coach fail him?

This is the NBA, the guy can play!

Its not like we had Chris smith ahead of him.

Why is he playing:

I remember watching Beno in pre season and thinking about how he was trying to run a movement offense but everyone was just standing around. I remember thinking how he looked frustrated dribleing the ball around to get the defense to start moving and everyone else was standing in there spots waiting to get the ball so they could do their 1 on 1 thing. This season was painful. to watch. Better days ahead. Glad Beno is getting his chance to play in meaningful games. He deserved better then rotting on the bench here or trying to run a stagnant offense which really wasn't his game.
holfresh @ 4/22/2014 3:51 PM
Beno's problem wasn't his offense, Beno's problem with the Knicks was the guy he was guarding was scoring more points than Beno...

And he was out of shape. He looks very different. Yellowboy said that it was reported that he had to work himself into shape when he got to Memphis.

Also, people seem to be overlooking that he wasn't even playing for Memphis either and would not be playing if Calathes wasn't suspended for 20 games. I give him credit for stepping up but he had a few good games for the knicks but maybe now that he knows he is getting playing time he'll be more consistent. I always like the possibility of what Beno could have added but was skeptical because there had to be a reason why he moved around so much and was benched in Milwaukee and other places.

I probably would have still played him over Felton though because at least he did one thing well. The spacing he could have provided would have helped.

I think Indy is making a mistake putting George on Teague. I don't think he is that kind of defender. Indy defensive system is about rim protection and George guarding the pg will give ATl the advantage on PnRs. It takes George away from playing the lanes and getting steals.
CrushAlot @ 4/22/2014 8:14 PM
Hawks are going to be a tough out for the Pacers.
yellowboy90 @ 4/22/2014 8:15 PM
Atl wasting opportunities. If Milsap is being guarded by Hibbert then need to get Millsap on the move and not go iso.
gunsnewing @ 4/22/2014 9:11 PM
Yea ummm Indiana is in a worrrrrld of trouble

These Nets announcers are really atrocious.

Nets showed zero imagination in the end..Down by 2 and went for the three..No looks for JJ..Tough..Derozan stepped up big time..
holfresh @ 4/22/2014 10:44 PM
Playing hard isn't going to be enough for Chicago, everyone plays hard in the playoffs..
