Knicks · What is Gorgui Dieng's Market Value? (page 1)

I was wondering because we need to trade for this guy. I've been big on him (and Dennis Schroder) since before the 2013 draft and I think he would be a far better fit in the triangle than Tyson Chandler. Dieng is an excellent passer, has a consistent 15 ft jump shot and has shown the ability to do a lot of the same things that Tyson does defensively and on the boards. With the Wolves desperate to improve their team, I think there is a good chance that he gets traded. We need to step up and see what we can do to get him.

His play went under the radar. If I was Minnesota Id be looking to move their lug of a C who they paid 8 digits to and keep Dieng. I think when you can cut salary and put it in more important spots--you try to. K Love and that huge C are too slow together.

I would too. But given how frustrated Love is, I think they make a panic move to try and appease him. Because of that, I think that Dieng would get them a better haul because of his cheap contract, health and promising play.
