I have no interest in Boozer, unless he's accompanied by Jimmy Butler and multiple draft picks.

Booz is so bad they never play him in the 4th unless they are forced to by fouls or injuries. Noah could not cover for Booz in the last game. You think Wiz get all those tapouts with Taj in for Booz?

IF I know Carmelo does not want to coem back here and he wants to go to the BUllS.. I would do
Carmelo for Boozer AND picks 16,19,49 and 2016 #1. Three number 1's and a 2. Ill do that. It would give us 5 draft picks and we'd still have free agency in 2015. On top pf which we can certainly be better next year almost regardless. This would give us significant opportunity.
Then we trade Chandler and we could simply have a new team picked by Phil and Steve for 2015. That would be 4-5 picks and 2-3 major free agents.
Boozer pulls his own disappearing acts, pass. Him and Chandler together wouldnt be a good idea IMO.
I'd take back Boozer in a deal, assuming with get back the plethora of picks that Briggs is suggesting. I think he could easily be flipped before July 1st to Houston for Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik. Yes, we'd be getting the better value in return BUT Houston would be saving $16 million of the $30 million that Lin and Asik will earn after July 1st.

if they amnesty boozer they can sign Melo for 19 per without any trade. Would that not be the smartest move for him so that he does not deplete his team again?

Well the same could easily happen here. I think Dolan would look at it as, Boozer helps more than just a free roster space/league min guy, and it's not like we'd have cap space anyway. He's also an expiring contract, which we used to salivate over here!
