Knicks · Would This Be A Good Compromise For Melo and the Knicks? (page 3)

We spend to much time debating over the financial part of things or what chicago and houston has to offer, rather than looking at what the knicks have to offer.
Fck melo if he doesn't want to sign, treat his ass just like CANO.
IS THAT WHY he forced his way here before the lockout, fleecing a team he was being traded to?
Fck melo if he doesn't want to sign, treat his ass just like CANO.He is nothing like cano.. I like cano, he won a title in NY, he wanted more money. I say he was greedy, but he did win here, now he wanted to get paid...as you guys say, "get your money melo".. well cano is entitled to the same thing..
Hmmmm Felton, Shump, Gallinari, Melo, Amare. Damn you Melo!!

Also Melo leaves all out on court while Cano won't even run out a grounder...so you're right they're nothing alike.
I wish Cano stayed and I'll likely wish Melo stayed were he to leave. At the moment there's no one on the market with his offensive abilities...he won't be easy to replace.
I don't know that there's anything the Bulls or Rockets have to offer that will be equal talent value. Being free from the financial obligations is something Phil might welcome, but he's not getting his Jordan/Pippen or Shaq/Kobe (Kobe/Gasol) if Melo walks or via any S&T this off season.
well fish, cano is a gold glove defender, so if he isn't hitting he sure as hell is defending, maybe all of those years carmelo was shooting 41% in the playoffs, if his fat ass defended he may have advanced..
but oh wait.. in the world of fish mike... IT IS SOMEONE ELSE FAULT!! lets give him 30 mil!!!
92 Cano batted in the one year the Yanks actually made it out of the first round.DO YOU EVER use google?
2010 AL Championship Series Texas Rangers Lost, 4-2
AL Division Series Minnesota Twins Won, 3-02009 World Series Philadelphia Phillies Won, 4-2
AL Championship Series Los Angeles Angels Won, 4-2
AL Division Series Minnesota Twins Won, 3-0Sorry dude. Cano's ring was aquired in spite of his own dreadful performance. But yea.. go on google and scour the internet for something that validates that you know what your talking about. Im sure this will be good.
Oh.. and I had 82 game season tix for Yanks from 96-09, so I was AT the games when Cano was yacking it up. Obviously seeing live isnt as valued as google, but my memory is pretty good on such things.
fish I can talk out of my ass while I am sleep and still make more sense than you bro.. you are consistently wrong and you are hardly ever right when trying to post stats, either you are dead wrong or you don't apply them correctly...

fish actually that is what you are doing.. using them as you see fit.. 28/8 is not what he does on a regular basis.. actually to be technical he was 27/8 last year and for his career he averages 6.5 boards per game.. so Bonn is a lot closer to what you get from carmelo than what you posted...

Obviously seeing live isnt as valued as google, but my memory is pretty good on such things.
fish I can talk out of my ass while I am sleep and still make more sense than you bro.. you are consistently wrong and you are hardly ever right when trying to post stats, either you are dead wrong or you don't apply them correctly...
in the end.. cano 1 ring
carmeloser 000000000000000000000000000
wtf does a ring have to do with anything? Is that your argument?
Also what hofs/champions is melo playing with? Cano played with some of the greatest, most successful winners in his era.
The only thing I see in comparison with Cano is he wanted top dollars and even the yankees said "nope".
Yeah, with Cano, you're talking about the best player by far at his position for several consecutive years.By far?
Pedroia is the better player.
2009 to 2013 Pedroia was almost 100 OPS points behind Cano

Cano: 6 playoffs, 4 first round flame outs and a batting average (Im guessing rather than googling) about 80 points lower then his regular season. Gold glove? Thats a regular season popularity contest.. you know, like Melo's perrenial all star appearance or all-NBA awards. See? This is easy.... Part of the reason Yanks didnt give him a mega contract was he's been terrible in the post season. But he's a champ in the TFK world, despite is annual failures.fishmike wrote:grillco wrote:Classic TFK post. Melo is always the most productive player on his team but he's a playoff loser. Cano has "won here" and now its OK to want to get paid. By "win here" TFK is reffering to the .192 Cano batted in the one year the Yanks actually made it out of the first round. Or maybe its the .222 Cano is batting over all? Hard to tell.. one can only wonder what goes on in the land of Melo-hate where TFK is kingtkf wrote:knicks1248 wrote:The guy in not interested in money, he's interested in winning a damn title. The dude is worth a 100 mill if he never plays another game in his life.He wants wha his buddies have..A TiTle
