Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh! It still hurts! Instead of an epic series, we got an absolute dud because the Heat didn't deserve to be there.
Yea we were up 3-1 on Miami. The only way they were beating us was by fighting and getting our best players suspended
That's the only other team that has a slight chance at making things interesting

maybe your too young to remember. Knick players were suspended that were not involved at all, they simply stood up and walked onto the court. I think Ewing or Starks took like 2 steps off the bench and were suspended. Literally all they did was stand and watch. Sorry dude... I know Paul George is your golden boy but he should be held to the same standard and letter of the law. Nobody is asking for anything to be done to PG that wasnt already done to the Knicks already and YES during playoff elimination games. In case you forgot Knicks were leading Heat series 3-2 before literally every player was suspended for either game 6 or 7
it has nothing to do with my like or dislike of a particular player-- that would be an emotional and irrational reaction. i would have the exact same response of any player i am not a fan of.
when diaw and stoudemire left the bench they went half way down the sideline towards the scorer's table. what they did was wrong and they in fact left the immediate vicinity of the bench. i didn't like the suspensions at all but they broke the rule, clearly.
look carefully at the rule itself-- "players must remain in the immediate vicinity of the bench."
look carefully at what actually transpired with paul george.
think carefully whether george violated the very carefully worded rule.
if you are going to compare the ewing and starks event with the paul george event then at least find the footage in question of them otherwise it's just going to be seen as more bloviating by you.
really? After what you just wrote? You really are special

I'm still bitter about last year! Not sure if the Pacers would make things interesting if they got through- the wheels have fallen off their wagon.

exactly... and I like the use of the word "perceived", because we are not rivals with the pacers at this point.... not even close to being..
yes it's envy pure and simple. looks like vogel is making hard decisions for the good of that team and now the haters are scared ha ha

The combination of players suspended lead me to believe that Jordan and Sterns wanted no part of the Knicks vs Bulls. Those pansy ass bitches pulled one on everyone. Alphabetical order give me a freaking break. The Knicks have Ewing and Houston for game six Heat were done at MSG.

It's ridiculous. Hopefully Silver is less of an A-hole

it was incredible.
Agree. If you are going to eliminate a team from the playoffs by blindly enforcing the rule one year you need to be consistent. Names/status shouldn't matter. It is a stupid rule but they need to be consistent and have made the 'tough decisions' that swayed playoff series in the past.
dk7th wrote:"During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the immediate vicinity of their bench."he stood up to look at what was happening, took a half step onto the court in doing so, and then was pushed back by an assistant coach without putting up a fight.
no suspension come on.
He should not be suspended but this part is wrong. He was already standing up and nothing was impeding his view from the altercation because it was directly in front of him. He did not need to take any steps.
I hope he doesn't get suspended but if he does that is on him for being stupid(at that moment) and not controlling himself. Everyone except him and butler seemed to stay in their place on standing on the sideline but them two.

I dont give two farts in the wind over starting some dick measuring contest with a donkey like you on the internet so you go streaking down the quad yelling about how right you are. How about this.. your right DK. My bad. It was caught in the maelstrom of my own bloviating. My bad. I retrack. Now you can go back to wanking on your Paul George poster while the unedumacated commoners of UK talk about basketball.
Watch Evan Turner replace George with 22-5-5.
