They have it all
a top 5 NBA rim protector
a top 3 NBA PF
maybe the #1 PG
6th man of year
great shooters and depth of the bench diversity/variety of skills/talents
I think they will eventually come out of the west OKC will not beat them and I dont think the Spurs or Blazers will beat in them in 7. Miami provides a different variable of team because they do play a forceful defense but I can certainly se the avenue for the Clippers to win the chip.
+1000
Looks like a Miami/LAC showdown and the Clippers have a damn good chance to dethrown.
Solid #2 PG as well
DJ has been impressing the hell out of me and Blake took his game to new levels (sweet new bank shot).
Kudos to Doc Rivers.
One game. All I'm saying.
Let's see how the play the Thunder with Paul shooting 2-9 from 3 instead of 8-9.

And westbrook goes 4-28 that same game.

They won 57 games with injuries and they beat a good GS team with a lot of extra curricular problems(Sterling)
When it comes down to it--they have the best PG a top 3 PF and a top 3-5 rim protector with great shooters and diversity/and a high quality coach. You cant take that away from them--they have what it takes to win it all.

they totally have the pieces... but other teams find ways to exploit them. In the past it was push or pull Blake out of the post and he's not effective. Force CP3 to score more and facilitate less. Put Jordan on the line... they have their holes. Its the Clippers... something about willing a title and the Clips in the same sentence doesnt gel

adding guys like Reddick Crawford Davis Barnes Collison have hardened that team and given them the best overall skill team left. They DO NOT have the best team D that is for sure--but they can simply outscore you.
I would love a Bullets/Clippers Finals.

it would be great for the league. GREAT.
What I loved about the Piston's title was no stars, no status quo.. just great team ball trumping the starphucking NBA

yup.. they are the kind of players I expect this management to add. Guys who cover weaknesses. Guys who fit into the team concept, whatever that is. Plus I always like Jamal. I have no problem rooting for that guy. Good dude.
This Donald Sterling fiasco has brought the team together. I think that the the Clippers are going to come out of the West. They seem like they are on a mission.
The Wizards have impressed me also. I like the brand of basketball they are playing.

Financially, no. The average fan couldn't name you two players on the Wizards, Washington/LA is a nightmare scenario for the NBA ratings wise. They want Miami/LA, and they want it badly.
Besides, Miami/LA would be a lot more competitive than Washington/LA. Washington would almost certainly get swept, they beat on an undermanned, lifeless Bulls team and are currently up 1-0 on a 50 win team that barely beat a sub-.500 8th seed. The Atlanta Hawks are a terrible basketball team, going 38-44 in that conference is all you need to know.

jokes aside...the Wizards have a nice team over there. they have the physical guys to compete inside too. tons of athletes. it wouldn't be a shock if they made it to the conference finals and made some noise
I believe they can beat the Blazers, but not the Spurs.

The Wizards are a player or two away from being really good. That being said--dont sell them short. They have size Gortat Nene Gooden Booker speed and skill Beal Wall Ariza good back up PG Miller and a three point shooter in Webster. They can beat any team--and they handled a good Chicago team rather well.

yeah it's no fluke. they are for real. this playoff run will only season them for something great going forward. As the Knicks make their changes, they might be in our way more that any other team out there. Like the Bullets and Knicks in the 60's
They are a good team, but I find Griffin and CP3 infuriating to watch with their flopping antics. They're both great players, and Griffin has really surprised me by the way he's raised his game this season, but I just don't enjoy watching them play.

They have a pretty good coach to
Doc Rivers made all the difference in the world. Deandre will keep getting better. Blake is almost unrecognizable-completely different player. Chris Paul is having a great season.
Doc has proven this year that it was not just that he had the best players in Boston.
He makes his very good players great.
