shaw trying to get out of his contract. He wasn't a great fit in Denver so they might allow him to leave without compensation.
It's a no brainer if that happens and we don't give up a pick. I will believe it when I see it. Shaw is Phil's #1 guy ahead of Kerr even. He will be a more commanding figure than fisher, Lue or Walton imo. Was one of Phil's top assistants for a long time
If it requires even a 2nd round pick than I go elsewhere

Maybe Moz would have been good but Hickson and Faried are not good fits. If Faried was a better defender he could have settled into a Rodman like role but his lack of skills in that area coupled with not being a good high post player or passer would not work.
Not looking at their numbers, I think there off reb. #s were good though which is great for a triangle big.

A couple of articles said Phil was no willing to look outside the triangle so Marc is an option. It's completely made up by them because they think it's what Knick fans want.

Are you sure that was the case? I thought he had been highly coveted for a couple of years and wanted to take his time until the right job came along. I could be wrong though.

Yeah and then he got passed over for the Lakers sand GSW jobs. Everyone thought he was a shoe in to replace Phil, but Mike Brown got hired. He also got passed over the Nets and 76ers jobs.

Ok now i remember the lakers and Nets jobs, don't remember him getting passed over on the other 2.
I think Kerr as Head Coach and Brian Shaw as leading assistant would have been great
Fisher as one of the assistants with some of the other rumored assistants
Along with Ron Harper, Pippen, Kukoc, and Rasheed Wallace as development/assistant coaches
