This can be a problem. Phil with all those rings when Phil look to go after a player even if he is a so so player all of a sudden the player is a superstar because Phil wants him. Then the bidding war begins. I see this as some players using us big time to get more money from other teams with no intentions of ever coming here. What do you think?

Players and agents have been using the Knicks this way since well before PJax arrived. Nothing new here.

Same can be said for Riley and Popovich. Every successful GM/President would have the same problem.

We had one instance where Kerr was percieved to be enhanced by Phils interest.

Teams throw out a long list of names when an opening happens.
