http://bleacherreport.com/articles/20723... Tom Thibodeau has established himself as one of the NBA's best coaches over the last few years, but with turmoil brewing between him and the Chicago Bulls' front office, other franchises with coaching vacancies are circling.
Could Thibs actually make a move out of the Windy City?

Great! Another coach is trying to lure us in to drive up his value and get bigger payday elsewhere.

No, hire Spike Lee. He's got moxie!
So, a great coach in Thibs and perhaps an up and comer in Jackson but we have Phil looking for a friend that runs the triangle?
Can we get a break? Maybe Jackson can meet Phil in the middle here?
Thibs, I'm not so sure about. I'd love him, but getting a young Jackson more open with offensive philosophy, I'd be game.
Hmmmm.... Who does Phil have left? I think either of the above guys can turn this around, but not sure about a pure triangle.
Phil would need to revisit the medical staff issue if Thibs were hired, pretty sure they would be working overtime. Still would love to see him coach the Knicks. Thibs doesn't run the triangle, but his system emphasizes ball movement and cutting. The ball carrier almost always has someone near him in motion and ready for a pass. Jackson has said that he wants a system in place, not necessarily his system.
I'm sure Dolan would be on board with this signing and I believe that Thibodeau and Jackson would make a hell of a team. I like this idea much better than the other names have been floated, much better.

Nightmares are dreams too, Nalod.
It's far more likely that we lose Melo than we gain Thibs. And unfortunately, the higher probability will play itself out.
