he's a child and loves the attention - the creation of this thread just validated his months (years?) of melo bashing. but wait.. it's all ok because he doesn't make negative comments in the tony gwynn DEATH THREAD. you can't make this shit up.

Someone posted in so many words "why would melo want to be here, we have not won in 40 years and........"

Thats too broad a stroke. The topic these days on Hoops hype, and even last nite was about "owners". Morey said the west has better owners.
Nalod is Dolan backwards and for 10 years my contention is the problem lies there. Not that he should sell it because a wealthy man can't be too stupid with his money, otherwise he loses it, but just be smarter. Problem is Dolan has a lot of money.

I also argue that its not usually the GM that signs 100million dollar contracts but the owners. That Donnie did not blunder with Amare, it was Dolan. That since Checketts left the ignorant starphuching is due to Dolan and not neophyte GM's like Layden that ruin the team. Dolan empowered Isiah. Dolan sets the agenda. A good owner would understand the Synch between coach, GM and the roster.

Dolan has bought in PHil Jax at a huge cost and one can remain optimistic that the true dysfunction has been the decision making process and that should improve as we expect "The System" to decide roster inclusions, draft picks and free agents as it did the coach's.

There is no short term fix here. Enjoy the journey.

in tfk's world the KNicks are only as good as Melo's last missed shot. If we had Gallo at least we would have our rehabbing rocky ready to come in, play the right way and give hope.

fish - never give an opening like that to tkf. He's going to hit that one so far out of the parking lot they won't be able to measure it.

In his defense, at least tkf now has an established school of melohating. It's truly become an art form now.

I still want to know what Bonn pulls down in legal fees per month, though.

when i used to post on that shithole known as realgm (2005/6), we were talking about Dirk. I said that if his career progresses the way it had been he is certainly a first ballot HOFer. He was a mod and used his platform to really just tell the world how dumb I was and how smart he was. Haven't heard that talk about Dirk for awhile but that's kind of the recipe.

lol that's pretty funny. pretty short-sighted too. even without his championship, dirk is a 1st ballot hof'er. stupidity at it's finest.

actually I was a huge dirk criticizer and one of his biggest fans at the same time.. not sure what you are talking about.. but since dirk entered the league I was a huge fan of his... but I got some news for you, there were some guys I was high on at one time that have proven me wrong and I have no problem admitting to that.. believe it or not I had some hope for Bargnani when he actually played with some balls... Dirk I always had respect for.. not sure going through all of that with you.. but if you haven't heard me talk about dirk in a while, it is because you probably avoided that shithole you called realgm... I spend countless threads defending dirk.. so I am not sure what you are talking about..

but let me add this. I have been a mod on that site for a very long time, and have had many conversations and guess what at times I may have been wrong, and I will admit that.. the thing is back then, I was a knick homer ,and my conversations at times may have reflected that.. but guess what I am no longer, I have grown and I am trying to help other appreciate the same type of growth... but if you go back to the beginning of dirks career, I had a discussion realgm with another mod, a miami fan mod, a heated discussion where I said that dirk will be a star in this league while guys like don mclean and tracy murry will be forgotten about... so where were you when I had those discussions. Instead of coming on here with accusations and half truths, document my entire body of work supreme..

and lets be real, most of your post deals with talking about other posters.. where were you when we had that lively debate about kevin love, it went on for pages...there were links articles, pictures, a real in depth discussion. .a basketball discussion that had nothing to do with knicks hate, or melo hate..

I will give Mreinman credit, we don't see eye to eye often, but he will engage in a debate about basketball and when his mind is right (lol) will put forth a good and spirited argument, and even though at times I don't agree with him, or find his view odd, at least he will put up a real basketball argument...

can you do that? are you capable of doing that? go look at my work, go to the kevin love thread, I am more than willing to not only talk ball, but back it up with links, stats and insightful conversation..

instead you show up in a thread like this... somewhat typical bro..

actually I am very happy, about to start a new business soon, I am healthy as is my family, life is pretty damn ok.
