He wants to be paid even if he is getting still his Wiz money, about 8mm if memory serves me.

With Bropez and Plumlee they really don't need 4 centers with Garnett. Mirza can be a stretch 4 in some spots with Plum in the middle. From what I saw in the playoffs Blatche didn't elevate his game and looked tired as the season went on. When focused he got game.

Do they have his bird rights? They are using their mme to bring over Bogan.

Stat and Shump to Philly.....

Can we dump Bargnani to Milwaukee???

Why we do that? Kidd wants to dilute the importance of the Nets. Bigger the knicks, the smaller the Nets. All ex coaches want their old teams to do worse in their absence.

I know its petty and the Owner would have to be on board with it. Bargnani and Thaianiss. They can 2 Greek Freak.

You don't get Lebron here for nothing.

PapaBear says: You dreaming!
Nalod knows what he saying, its a pipe dream but what nalod knows is until there is an announcement of any official capacity there is dialog and the intrigue and conspiracy can be played with.

If Phil can do that can we can build a statue of him.

Nalod lays low odds of this coming to fruition. Relax.

can someone please explain to me how and why Gordon Hayward got a maxi?

Just to be clear. His max contract is ~15M vs others whose max is in the 20M range. Don't know much about him.

He's the white Paul George!

In all seriousness, I remember him being hyped as a Paul George clone who was flying under the radar. I dont see it, but I guess at the ~$12-$14 mil max that younger players get Utah thinks he'll develop further. He's definitely a nice player but I agree he isn't worth the max. But what do I know?

Yeah - still seems insane. And, he shot like crap last year.

Looks like Lebron to Cleveland- the Cavs have just traded Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev to Nets, Tyler Zeller, Marcus Thornton to C's as well as a first. They would be absolute moron's to do that without some sort of guarantee from Lebron.

He's the new Dunleavy Jr! Remember that ridiculous contract he got from Golden State- this is history repeating itself.

Have to wonder if the Celtics take some of their first round picks and make a move for Love

Never knew they basically suspended him in December for conditioning issues and not being prepared for games.

That's what I thought- they have picks galore now that they can offer the Twolves. Even if they don't trade for him, they still have a tonne of picks.

From a distance he seems like a troubled guy. He was stabbed in Syracuse, had a girl raped in his hotel room on his birthday, organized some sort of weekly strip club visit thing in Washington and was amnestied despite being a young guy with a ton of talent.

Haywood's max is like 4 yrs, 63mil.

Not 90mil, not MeloMax 130mil.

How does that happen? Well, there are stars, and there are players who are progressing who are really good.
And if you want to get them via free agency, you have to offer more than MAYBE the restricted team that holds his rights is willing to go.
They can match.

IF Haywood thinks the market will be higher next year and not afraid of injury, he don't have to sign anything and be unrestrcited. Really, its a good system unless the teams are dumb.
Like knicks were.

Nalod @ 7/9/2014 11:22 AM
Im afraid while it would make Melo happy and starphuchers moan in delight (me included) the reality is the price to pay for dumping to get Lebron would thin us out. While Melo is an upgrade over bosh or wade im not sure he is an upgrade of "Both" and we get real small after Dalembert. Phil would have to work more jedi to round out the roster.

If East coast teams were smart, they'd help keep Lebron from Cleveland as they could build a juggernaut with their assets.

How? Philly can help us and figure our reign would be done as theirs begins. Don't take Shump or THJ for Amare Dump.

Chicago should be worried as it could C.ock block their run. Offer us assets and sign and trade with us for Melo. What can Bulls do to keep Lebron in Miami? Nalod can't figure that one out.

Teams don't just think about themselves, they have to consider who can do what.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend..............

Utah could have had hem for like $10M or so but rolled the dice and loss. What is weird is he had a terrible year shooting the ball.

Didn't Deron ask for a trade at the end of the year?
