Bosh's agent has to be going absolutely berzerk. All that money + playing with shiny new things, no more pressure dealing with LeKing...
Where in time is Bosh ever going to get payday like this again?
I think there is a delay because they just want to eff with ESPN. SportsCenter is the most boring thing in the world right now

if anything, espn is in on it b/c they have major $$$'s invested in the nba. think about it - everything on sportscenter right now is nba.
3 of the biggest markets are after melo, la, chicago, ny - have to milk those ratings as much as they can.
this is all engineered BS by the man.

Jackson has been playing like a master. Forget the Zen stuff- more like Machiavelli or Sun Tzu's Art of War.
Was philosophical in his stance that whatever Anthony decided, the Knicks would come out fine as a franchise. Personally, I believe that in the back of his mind he does not think that Anthony can be the top dog on a championship team (If Anthony does actually go to Miami to be with James, we then know that Anthony feels the same way himself.). For the first time we seem to have a leader in the front office who knows how to play the game.
Called out Anthony on his comment about taking less to help the team, putting the pressure on Anthony to back up his words and show what he thinks about the team and the New York fans.
Said there was a Max contract on the table- Allows fans to see that Anthony has a choice, and Phil is not pressuring him. Even said there were about 5 contract possibilities. Saves Phil and the Knicks from any negative public reaction if Anthony leaves. Makes Anthony the goat. Commenting about the texting which Anthony hasn't answered does the same thing.
Should be interesting to see how everything plays out. As others have said, Bosh is the first domino... once he decides we'll know what is happening.
Anthony may go from Savior to Satan in the eyes of Knicks fans, and Lebron better build a wall and moat around his Akron house if he stays in Miami to be with Anthony after the tease he gave the Cavs fans.

Bosh would be crazy to turn that deal down, you figure Miami is going to give him what max 4 years 60 million, thats amost 30 million more. He goes to a team where he fits like a glove with the other 2 pieces, I dont see why he hasnt done it

also houston is only 3.5 hrs away from his hometown dallas, for whatever that's worth.

And another state without state income tax.
Don't they have to complete the Asik and Lin trades first? I thought I saw the Rockets were still trying to send Lin to the Bucks instead of the Sixers because they would have to pay less to do it.
LeBron to Cleveland means there shouldn't be much more of a delay with Melo.

Not sure we will hear today since Lebron announced today but hopefully this weekend.
