Even the Haters were roided up

I had things pegged pretty solid with exception

To a major whiff on Charlotte

They IMO are by far the most disappointing team in the East

Al Jefferson is overrated (offensively) and he is a horrible defender buy yay for his throw back archaic post game.

I'd take Al Jefferson right about now (I mean for a bag of donuts or something)

would you give up our first rounder (if the CBA allowed)? No freakin way.

I don't want him occupying our cap space.

I am not saying that he is not a good player but certainly overrated.

I think he's properly rated

He doesn't make Max money, never has and is essentially 20/10 player

He might get close to max this summer only because of circumstance

No one goes on and on about Al Jefferson, great low post player though

way too many holes in his game and is certainly NOT a two way player.

I don't think we go near him. I hope that is the case.

As do others

Neither is Aldridge-K-Love-Jordan-Monroe-Chandler-Asik etc etc

But they're all getting paid this summer by someone

Only Love and Aldridge get/deserve max money.

I know that you don't like Love but I am ready to pay him. The only thing that I worry about is his health but at least we can insure him ... yay

The only one that truly deserves it is Aldridge

He's proven he makes a difference in winning

And he's the foundational offensive piece

On a winning team in a much tougher conference

Love only has a case based on numbers and market value

He's not a bad player at all, he just doesn't deserve max money

Regardless he's getting paid

For a poster who has called out Melo for years for his playoff failures, did you even bother to double check LA's (9th year in the league) playoff record and performances (horrendous efficiency (TS or FG your choice)) before saying that "He's proven he makes a difference in winning"?

I gave my reason based on those grouping of bigs

Not that I'd pay him that personally, which I clarified with H1AND1

you are back pedaling (which is fine). you seem to be doing this a lot though.

There is no backpedaling and I don't backpedal

I clearly said they are all getting paid

But felt the group of bigs left no choice to go with L.A.

If we're talking Max, I could care less

Don't want Aldridge, we have no shot at Aldridge

I said in the other thread I'm not interested in paying Gasol $20mil/yr

And yet he deserves it over everyone, he just wasn't listed in the current exchange

I'm pretty consistent

Love did nothing but lose in Sota

Jordan lost with Clippers until CP3 showed up

Asik really is non factor

Jefferson has lost majority of his career

Tyson lost a helluva lot of games before arriving in Dallas

Monroe straight up loser

Those were the guys we mentioned for Max or deserving of huge paydays

A few of them aren't getting max regardless but they will be financially compensated nonetheless

Losing is irrelevant (for the most part). Its how you perform on a losing team. You gotta do your part.

So ... do you think that perhaps LA should be incorporating the 3 ball into his game?

Winning doesn't matter for the most part

Although in Gasol's case I think it solidfies him receiving Max

Because he's turned Memphis into a winning franchise

They are all getting paid regardless of what we think of their personal games

Because they excel at certain areas of the game over others

I wish Aldridge rebounded like Love and played a little closer to the basket

Happy to see Love's 3pt attempts down from previous yrs

Would like for him to rebound at the level he's capable of 9.5 is too status quo for him

And for both to play tougher front line defense

Kevin Love DID NOT WANT

Kevin Love IS NOT GETTABLE

lol

Kevin Love said he plans to remain with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the foreseeable future.

"I'm a Cavalier and I plan on being a Cavalier for a long time," Love said.

There has been speculation that Love could consider other options and become a free agent in the offseason.

Love is averaging 17.3 points and 9.5 rebounds this season.

There is no such fukking personage. He died from toe sucking pessimism so I dissolved his remains in a vat full of acid and set fire to the abandoned factory the vat was in. Now leave me out of your deranged posts, you gloomy freaks.

That's about all I have in common with Nalod. Minus the stellar posting grammar.

You two guttersnipes would be getting dinged too if you didn't enjoy us losing so much.
Wait, is Knick losing basketball related?

Lose the battle to win the war.............

Nalod sees not what is, but what can be.........

Ask not what your melo can do for you today, but what he can do in the future.......

Foolish men react to what they see........Wise man anticipates.

Gretzky did not chase the puck, he went to where the puck will be.......

Stay thirsty my friends......

Note: Look at the title and who wrote it. What did that tell you?
Barkley tell us? Preseason Shoene predictions??

I maybe don't care enough to poke at their cages any longer. The most hateful people here are the ones who call us haters. Butting heads with them isn't even entertaining. The most venomous ones are the biggest dullards of all. And if the team is never going to be entertaining, then they can have the scraps Dolan throws them and lap it up like dummies. They can re-sign Stat and live with the dynamic duo for another four years for all I care. This franchise is going nowhere. Phil pulled a fast one on Dolan and got the big payout to end his career. It was clearly a money grab. All the little lemmings call Phil's statements facts. Sheeple is what they are. Literal minded robot consumers who believe the issue of character is a null void quotient and irrelevant, as if any institution of worth in this world is not defined by the character of their leadership. Players are one thing, but Phil manipulated the situation to perfection. I'm surprised at the blind faith invested in him. He is most the cynical player in this mess. The public believing he didn't do this to line his pockets is what he was banking on (and probably Dolan too). He cashed in on his reputation and the rubes have all bought it hook, line and sinker. He won't be here five years. Mark my words. This will unravel even worse than it is going now by the end of next season. The resurrection of Guitar Jimmy is just around the corner. The team is a disaster and nothing will come of Melo Era 2. This is done. Stick a fork in it. Better things to do than bother with the jackals here. Better things to do than watch this team. My loyalty has expired. I've got other work to do. Keep up the good fight (or don't, I mean why should you care?). Take it easy (Eagles quote).
