Heat meltdown against Mavs was Lebrons last act of immaturity. He is a hardend leader now. Amazing that DWade was not able to "lead" that team but in fact was a culprit in blowing the 2-0 lead
Kyrie and Love have never played with such talent such as themselves then throw in lebron and the chemistry might exceed anything we have seen on paper. Naturally it could go the other way but there is a base personality and perhaps friendship of "Uncle drew and Wes" to begin with.
Flat out my expectation is they are the leagues best at some point this season and the Hype will be there. Not to "Heatles" levels but this team will be the flagship marketed team.
Given my respect for Lebron the last few years I am not nausiated by the "Pep rally" or the "Decision" and the flaunting and taunting that marked the first season in Miami.
As for Gilbert, who cares about the owner. We have had our own dickhead running our team into the ground.

whatever team lebron is on the odds are that they are contenders, ie a final four team. he is going to make everyone better, especially kevin love-- something that lebron in his genius can foresee. there may be issues of how he can develop chemistry with irving who, in my brief exposure to him, seems rather rose-like.
bottom line is can they get timely defensive stops at the conference finals level and beyond... and how well this fellow blatt can keep everyone fresh over the course of the season and then make the right moves matchup wise in the playoffs.

What made Miami great was the quickness of its switch defense when they needed a stop. It was brilliant.
Spurs killed them in the interior.
BTW, I think Miami is actually still pretty good. I'd like to see a Miami-Cav's series in the playoffs!!!!
Naturally I hope Knicks are late season bloomer and do some damage in the playoffs to some one. Upset Miami or Cavs??? A rivalry built on a a knick-Net series?
