Carlos delfino just got waived. I know he was injured all last yr but i always like his game. Would you consider replacing Outlaw with Delfino?
CrushAlot @ 9/8/2014 9:08 PM
I think I read somewhere that he is not healing correctly from injury despite training and rehabbing hard to get back. I like Delfino a lot. If he could play I think waiving Outlaw to get him would be smart.

Not sure he and Melo like each other. They've had a couple of flare-ups the past few times they've matched up against one another. Would Melo welcome this guy on the team? And like everything else I've been saying recently, if we're gonna add anything else to this roster, I'd like to see even more young talent, not another guy who's one step away from retirement. That's just me. Better yet -- we drafted this guy Early -- I'd like to see some conviction in that pick -- let's establish this guy in the rotation right away. I'm OK with going through some growing pains with this dude. No way do I see playing Travis Outlaw or any other middle-of-the-road vet over Early. Makes no sense to me -- Travis Outlaw is not part of the future; he's probably a one and done guy for us this year. Good insurance at the 3 but not much more beyond that. Early needs to get a spot in the rotation ahead of this guy imo. Developing Early is imperative; he's the future. The quicker we establish him, the quicker we are to finding out what he is or likely to become (another Kawhi Leonard perhaps?).

Get him some EARLY burn. Let's see what we got.

I agree that early should get playing time as the backup

I hope Travis Outlaw gets waived after camp. He cant help us.

Has Outlaw even said anything about becoming a Knick? Haven't heard a peep out of him. I expect him to play like Brewer did after he lost his shouting touch!

Delfino is done, unfortunately- his foot just isn't healing.

I would sign him to a 2 year vet min deal with the 2nd year being a team option
Shooters are needed in any system, he is a HIGH IQ player, and was part of the rotation on the Detroit Championship team
