His age is not the problem. If anything he should be better with age as a QB. It's his performance and value on the field.
There are a million holes on this team and lack of discipline on both sides of the field. Eli is far down the list of problems
Joe Flacco is pretty mediocre too. There are only a handful of REALLY good QB's
Eli already has 2 rings & 2 Superbowl MVPs
Fire them. I love them but they have to go. Jim Harbaugh is a free agent this summer n him n the 49ers are not getting along. He will not be back there n he is a great coach.
As of tonight, I'm gonna say no. Skins didn't come to play, but the passing game looks crisp.

Agree. How many completions in a row did Eli have?

Has he won two superbowls?
Giants 2-2. What is the potential of the team? Not what is the fans expectation and to fire the coach if its not met!

Its NY man. Yankees and Giant's recent success have raised the bar.
There is a list of teams that have never won a superbowl! Vikings 0-4 in visits over 53 years! Dolphins have not won since early in the Shula Era. The List goes on........We win 2 in the last 7 years and some fans are calling for heads at 0-2???
This team never had "Preseason contender" written on it. Same for yankees. As the season went on we lose 4/5's of the starting rotation and I thought finishing 4 games out of playoffs and above .500 was really quite good given the circumstances.
Just because the Yanks spend the money does not guarantee success. It means we don't build thru yoot and have to pay up for players. The Angels last year had a crazy payroll and it was a disaster, this year they are rolling. They PUjols and Hamilton!!! For what they pay them!!! But they also have some great youthier players that is the true backbone of the franchise.
Maybe this is their year. Maybe Next year A-rod returns in some fashion to salvage a reputation tarnished and shamed. One good clean season with good numbers could restore some of it.
We might have something here. Hopefully philly and Dallas lose this week. Eli has cut down on his mistakes. Beckham Jr will play next game. They have better balance running and throwing the ball. Rogers cromartie, prince and the rest of the secondary has been awesome. Moore is a beast rushing the passer. JPP looks healthy and what can I say about Donnell What a steal! Undrafted out of Grambling. Hopefully they hold onto him. Should be a fun year. New York needs it!
the giants are starting to look like a potential playoff team. offense looked great last night. donnell is a great target. i take back the statement that the giants don't have a good pass-catching TE.
key stat: giants were +4 in takeaways.
I'm shocked at how athletic Donnell is and he's 6'6'' How does he go undrafted?! Huge kudos to Reece.
Eli hasnt had a redzone target like him since Plaxico. Finally someone who can go up and catch balls that aren't perfectly thrown.
I was really hoping they drafted a top flight TE. Every good team has one of those guys who cause all kinds of matchup problems with their speed and pass catching abilities. I was really down on the TE's but it turns out they found exactly the player I was hoping for!
I was wrong, I see the potential in the DEF of the Giants right now
Eli has been getting rid of the ball earlier, in this new "WEST COAST OFFENSE", with the help of the improvements of the OFF LINE, Rashard Jennings/Andre Williams and their running game, TE steals providing easy targets for ELi and a BIG TARGET (hoping we can somehow play 2 TE's with this new OFFENSE together), and CONFIDENCE having a multiplied effect on confidence on OFF, DEF, and ELI
But the DEF has looked like a TOP DEF or 2nd tier TOP DEF in the league, which I was very surprised at
That's the key. The old system didn't work because the o-line wasn't the same. That system required the o-line to give Eli enough time to sit in the pocket. For years we pleaded for them to speed things up and use the 2min offense more which he is so successful with. This version of the west coast offense has worked like a charm the past 3 games and it's good to see them mix in the run. Jennings is a real pro. Takes care of the ball and runs with heart like Ahmad Bradshaw

Cromartie is the shut down corner we never had and Prince is solid. They can comfortably blitz now. Defense has the pieces to be really good.

i have never like the giants secondary-- they have had the habit of giving up huge plays-- but maybe they will finally be solid.
And give it up for JPP 13 tackles out of your defensive lineman. 2nd double digit tackle game. Proof he is going above and beyond and working his ass off. And healthy!
It's a blessing after losing strahan, osi & Tuck
