Well the last time I saw an apple store (and I don't enter them as a rule because they're above my pay grade), they had those check out anywhere stations with guys floating around taking your cash

Same here. I suppose its some new trend they started. You can get away with self checkouts when you're dealing with supermarkets that feature cheap items. I'm sure people steal like crazy there because I know of the stunts that people do in Walmart with not so cheap items. But when your cheapest product is hundreds of dollars, you better make sure you have people willing to protect it before you start turning a loss.

Yeah, its apples fault! ITs not like its self serve. was he taking peripherals off the wall? He was a celeb and he GOT CAUGHT! They might have wanted to be sure before accusing a celeb of stealing.
Dude is pretty high profile, its surprising he stooping this low. I wonder whats up with him?
