I think x man was the best most mediocre knick. He was the man before we got him but he was pretty much damaged goods right after. His career started fizzling cuz of his back. He's still a legendary folk hero to knick fans. He did more for us in one season than any knick. Most of which was in our imagination lol.

Childs... no question.
He played his role well.
He sucked as PG but he was busting his a...ss and was not backing up to anybody.

I'd have to say best average player we had in the 90s was Charlie Ward he didn't do anything great but he didn't do anything bad. good defender, good passer, could penetrate and get to the free throw line, tough as nails, and reliable.. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/wardch01.html?mobile=false

10 years of average play and a good guy too

Other

Allan Houston. He was pretty good for a mediocre guy. (Or maybe it was vice versa)

Charlie Ward did play his role nicely.

At 6-10 the Fugazi was the most talented of the group.

Houston wanst medicore. He wasnt a star player like we wanted him to be but he was one of the better free agents signings we had. Its a shame injuries caught up with him right after we signed him to that monster contract

Which made him the worst of the group since he did so little with it.

Of these I would say Hubert because of the shot he hit when Pippen "fouled" him.

Other - LJ had to be the best mediocre Knick. By the time we got Granmama, he was well into the tail end of his career. Great memories, mediocre numbers.

Definitely had a sht load of potential, he can take you off the dribble, shoot 3's block shots, very athletic, but just a lazy a$$ player who seem content on being avg.
