I do hate Amare but I'm consistent with it. Plus or minus doesn't explain what he's doing in the court. It doesn't explain his poor leadership. It doesn't show him missing assignments and ridiculing his teammates for doing the same thing he's doing. It didn't show him taking himself out of the game by getting into a shoving match running up the court with a Celtics big man and complaining to the refs. It didn't show him disregarding Larkin trying to explain the play to him that he screwed up.
I agree about Amare. Also the ball still stops when it goes to Amare. I am not sure about Larkin. Aside from being very quick I didnt think he looked like he should be a rotation player. Hopefully it is rust/lack of experience but I don't see him beating out Pablo. It was only one game so maybe that changes.
The ball didn't stop with Amare, in fact the one thing i didn't see was anyone holding the ball, I saw bad pass attempts leading to 28 TO's. I really don't think it's safe to judge any player on this one game.
Alot of opinions being drawn from one preseason game.

So why come to a message board if you don't want to see messages?
I was watching the game trying to figure out who was who, there were so many new faces being shuffled in and out of the lineup. Imagine what its like on the floor, with a first time head coach on the bench. Its probably going to be ugly at times. If the team had stayed intact (shudders) and played like this, it would be an issue, but still not a serious one. We'll see what lineups are the most effective.

Yeah you can't be too harsh. Knicks got blown out but they played alot of guys and are trying things out. All the new things they are doing look great. It's a matter of getting it all tightened up. I expect to have a different assessment after every single game. I also expect to eat my words on alot of it. At least I hope so.

What makes you think I dont want to see them? Just surprised there are so many.
I have to say I think Jason smith and dalembert should start Saturday.

Jason smith just had a baby so he hasn't been at practice and it explains why he didn't play in game one.
How about I just hope he even plays at all Saturday?

I disagree. When did he pass?

Six shots 14 minutes and zero assists. Those are box score numbers. Watching the game the ball stopped just like it always has when it got to Amare. Amare looked healthy and quick when he got the ball and his moves were pretty good but once he touched it it didn't leave his mitts.
