The misunderstanding is this. Jose does play defense. He just won't be able to prevent most guys from turning the corner on him which is why you need a defensive big to handle that penetration.

But he tries which is better than Stat who can't even remember to try sometimes.

It looks like THJ got some lessons from his dad on how to drive. He looks much smoother going to the hoop.
