It is his surgically repaired foot.

averaged 18 points and 5.6 rebounds in 23.3 minutes

Jees, He'sa really really good player--he could take 2 years off and some back and score 20 points-not the best rebounder. Of all the sports to have foot issues basketball by far is the worst. How is this guy going to stay healthy? If there is a guy who needs their minutes limited and games cut back for th best of the team--its Brook. With Brook in there at full capacity this team can beat anyone.

That's better for them because they have that kid that just won a gold medal. I follow the Nets. The basketball gods ate smiting them for disrespecting the game when they first got to Brooklyn. They need to refocus. Lionel hollins is there so I see them making a change and really representing Brooklyn correctly within the year
gunsnewing @ 10/17/2014 12:15 AM
thats true they are probably better off with Mason Plumlee. Better for chemistry. Brook is too slow and prodding
fishmike @ 10/17/2014 10:40 AM
He's Yao. I mean 7+ guys who run around and weigh 280 for years and years are going to have foot problems. Stress fracture is your bone's way of saying "I give up"

Not to be a doom or gloom but his NBA career is done.

If he gets on the floor that foot is a timebomb to crack

Probably, but ilgauskas turned it around after foot issues so it's possible.

And Kevin Garnett is a center at this point anyway. It's a loss for sure, but Center is one of the few spots Brooklyn is good in terms of depth. That Lopez/Garnett frontcourt is going to be bad defensively either way.

I actually think brooklyn is betted without pierce. With plumlee lopez teletovic garnett jefferson they easily have one of the best frontcourts in the nba they will have to be conservative and strategic w lopez I like their pick ups of jack bogdovich and karasev w jefferson

plumlee, lopez, teletovic, garnett is far, far from being one of the best front courts in the nba. Are you serious?! Garnett is done, Teletovic is a bench player, Lopez can't defend or rebound. I like Plume, but he's no great at this point.

I haven't seen Bognadovich play yet. I know he starts and that Hollins is planning on starting him. How has he looked?
