Knicks · Nash out for the entire season (page 1)

So Lakers will get a injured exemption to use if they wish to do so worth about 1/2 of Nash's contract

So about 5m, a little less
It could be used to sign, trade, or on waivers, not sure how long they have to use it though

gunsnewing @ 10/23/2014 10:38 PM
JR? eh no
CrushAlot @ 10/23/2014 10:39 PM
Wow. He was retiring after this year. Too bad. I haven't watched them in preseason but it sounds like Price is playing well for them. Lin will have a great opportunity there. Wish Nash could go out on his own terms. Hard to believe that 2 years ago d12, Nash, Pau and Kobe were all teammates.
callmened @ 10/24/2014 12:21 AM
in his prime he was a fantastic point guard. what a career!
EnySpree @ 10/24/2014 12:44 AM
He's cool as hell....but father time finally came to collect. Dude is too old to be out there anyway lol. He'll be great at whatever he decides to do next
RonRon @ 10/24/2014 12:48 AM
Lin will never get the chance to be mentored by Nash
NardDogNation @ 10/24/2014 1:58 AM
Two things: (1) That Phoenix medical team was incredible. Steve Nash has always been injury-prone but his tenure in Phoenix was the great exception. (2) We dodged one hell of bullet when we missed out on trading for Nash. Imagine us missing 2 more picks just to watch him on the bench. As a side, we should NEVER make a trade with the Suns for any guy older than 25. They nearly screwed us with Nash and most certainly did with Quentin Richardson. Lesson learned!

By the way people down on Larkin's height. There is no way Nash is 6'3. He is under 5'11. Confirmed by People who've taken pictures with him. Perfect height for a soccer player
fishmike @ 10/24/2014 8:35 AM
anyone down on Larkin because of his height should check out Nash. Dude had an amazing career. One of the best players to watch. Ever.

When Larkin learns to pass like Nash, call me.

Yea that is the biggest question but people make too big a deal about his size. He has to slow down and get accustomed to playing with his teammates. Where and how they like the ball etc. It will come. He doesn't even have a full year under his belt yet

Vmart @ 10/24/2014 10:25 AM
Sometimes the body has to let a player know when it is time to hang it up.
