Melo is hot but once again
You can see the flaws in starting
Or playing certain guys with others
There are obvious signs players don't
Play well with others
Smith already on the bench Acy is in
And he hits a jumper right away
Barry Larkin's kid...two fouls in a minute and a half.
Kid has to slow down his game. Too frantic.
Acy hits another jumper
Amar'e first touch head down attack the rim
Amazing how tunnel vision he is
Knicks look good in terms of doing what they're supposed to do. Ball is moving the shots are good shots. Just need a bit more D on DeRozan.
STAT is doing his job! Be dominant is the post.
It's been the Quincy Acy & Melo show
We gotta get JR going. He needs to just make use of the screen and let it go.

I hope his job includes more than this
Assignments that include team, sharing the rock
How about learn how to box out
On free throw rebounds and go pursue them
Instead of standing flat footed and
Watching everything on the defensive end
Every play hasn't been picture-perfect but you can tell they're getting more comfortable running the offense. On some plays though, shot clock has run all the way down and shots haven't yet materialized. Hard to tell exactly why shots aren't opening up like they should running this offense...Guys are playing hard. Melo in mid season form already...don't care what anyone says--I want STAT aggressive looking for his shot at all times. Acy is a lot better player than some of us are giving him credit for. The dude can shoot and he's laying hard out there, really engaged defensively so far tonight. You can see him out there talking, upset when the calls aren't going our way...fisher dresses impeccably -- love every suit combo. he's worn so far..sharp.
This team still needs a lot more time to fully get adjusted to this. I know STAT isn't passing but until he learns how to pass effectively I don't want him throwing it all over the place. Let him get a feel for passing as we move along.
Best Acy's looked this pre-season by far.
Loving the unselfishness out there

Didn't you hear Breen and Wally explain that? Our heroes are still nervous in the system and overcompensating with too many extra passes. Shots are there but guys at this point feel they have to make that extra pass. Shot clock runs down. Makes sense.
Not a bigger STAT fan on this board than me but boy is he asleep at the wheel on defense at times and he's just not the the rebounder we really need him to be given his size and athleticism.

These role players will be much better this year cuz they practice taking those shots every day and they're confident. Our role players aren't hesitating cuz they are being told to take the shot and not worry about hitting or missing.
GREAT defense by Quincy up high. He's made a huge difference tonight.

Horrible excuse, he should pass for the sake of the system
As it breeds unselfish play or should
