I think the Blazers declined Thomas Robinsons option, so he'll be a UFA in the offseason- kind of surprised me as he seems to be doing okay for them as a backup PF
Robinson is a nice player. The only problem with him is that he is a little undersized for a PF. They have him listed as 6'10" but he is more like 6'8".
What are your thoughts on Mchale's coaching
Now that Lin is no longer there
Stopped following them when Lin left. Can't argue with the record. Is it really his coaching though or is it just Harden becoming more of a 2 way player now? My understanding is that Harden has been playing some really good defense and his stint with the US National Team is to be thanked for. I also thought they had a downgade with Reezy but it looks like he is making a big difference with the defense. Reezy and Dwight are a good combination in the defensive front. They have had a pretty easy schedule so far. I want to see how they do against tougher competition. They man handled the Spurs so that is a start.
I still stand with what I saw last year. He was a bad coach last year. Just watch the series against the Blazers.
Which means you were never really providing yourself
With enough credibility to give an objective view of their team
I saw video of McHale yesterday teaching D-12 how to post
Something assistant coaches should be doing
If Harden is playing better D McHale can't get credit for this
Yeah Riza helps but appears McHale has made it real easy for him to transition into their system
It only goes to a player when the team performs well but when they
Perform bad then blame the coach, naaaahhhh not buying that
So my credibility is in question now? Dang dude. I was never shy about my view on Lin so there is that.
McHale was horrible last year. His offensive plays after timeouts were bad. His time management was bad. His substitution patterns were horrible. His defensive schemes were really bad. It got worse when Sampson left his staff.
No. Coaching to me is not if he can get a player to play to his abilities. This is pro ball. Their salary should be enough. To me, a coach should be able to perform those tasks I mentioned during the game.
McHale teaching Dwight is great. McHale is probably one of the greatest post player in history. So is this an indictment of his coaching, cause last time I checked Dwight still sucks in the post.
I am a big Reezy fan, once a knick..., I always thought he was a plug and play type of player.
If you are saying that I only blamed McHale last year then you are wrong. I mentioned in more than 1 occasion that Lin needed to cut TOs and needed to be more aggressive which will result in better play. I also blamed Harden for too much hero ball.
Perkins and Ibaka really freezing out Reggie? There can only be one shoot first pg. I get it that they maybe made at Reggie for playing for a contract but Perkins is an awful player and is probably lucky Scott Brooks is his coach.

+1. They should fire Scott for playing Perkins as much as they do. In general, Brooks is a terrible coach that doesn't have much in the way of offensive schemes. And because of that, talented guys like Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones III have not been able to develop despite being effective.
PJ Hairston looks like he's on that Raymond Felton workout plan. Thank God we didn't throw away any assets on that dude. He's looking to be more trouble than he's worth.
Lance Stephenson has just become a Legend
What a Finish to that game
Reggie Jackson with a huge three
Mike Conley hitting a lot of clutch shots.
Reggie Jackson would be an easy guy to root for if he was a knick

Supposedly there is locker room tension with
Teammates and his style of play
If I were him I'd tell each and every teammate
1 by 1 I give 0 flying fux about what you think about my game
If you think I'm playing for a paycheck
Then sit back and watch me eat
Are they serious, they can't be not after
Having to contend with Chuck Bricks for the past 6-7yrs
Collison gets called for a 5 second violation. OKC is going to lose this on a horrible hiccup on Collison's part

So the Knicks were going to come back and win by double digits and Cleveland were going to come back and win easy ? Can I get your early prediction for the line on Friday ?
Knicks will lose by 15
Pretty good prediction. Just got the line for the Hawks game on Saturday. Your thoughts on the -6.5 ? Looks like printing money again to me.

Fisher has played with him and we have two former OKC assistant coaches- if there are any questions regarding his attitude and impact on team chemistry, they'll know about it first hand.
Two nasty ankle injuries- Marcus Smarts looked like a dreaded high ankle sprain, judging by where he was holding it- those can be really nasty. Sometimes ankle sprains are worse than breaks when it comes to the amount of time it takes to heal. Rubio's looks like a break, even though the TWolves are claiming its a sprain for now.
J.J. Redick went noid after shooting like crap til today
how is pekovic this year?

Haven't seen him play but he is putting up good fantasy numbers. That doesn't mean much.
Wife Beater along with Hakunamatata and nem
Beat the Grizzlies and the Bucks are now 3-4
Don't look now but I think I told someone this summer
The East is much better than it was last year
But of course they were stubborn and belligerently defiant
It wasn't and the main focus was our 54 win season

I've read a few times that he's beasting
GS v. Phoenix should be interesting. GS looked a little iffy beating Houston with Howard, Beverly, and Ross on the bench. I'm not sure GS is a significantly better team at this moment than Phoenix . . . maybe.
Bogo for the Nets is a terrific player
I mean he's going to have a home in the NBA for a while
What an incredible pickup by Billy King
