Watching LAL v. Hawks . . . this time, Lin is running the team (and having a nice enough game, 6/6 FG and 8 assists so far) and Kobe is playing (more or less) team ball. They are leading the Hawks and stand a chance. Lin's not an all-star PG, doh, but the Lakers are _a lot_ better when Lin, not Kobe is running the team.
Okay, okay, I was also watching the Knicks (you know, aiming for every minute of every game) just switched to the Lakers around, um, halftime.

I see Dwight Howard is under investigation for allegedly using a belt to beat his child. If true- is he trying to become the most despised NBA player? He's 7ft, 265lb and uses a belt to hit a small child? Disgusting.

I'm waiting for the countdown where he fails to acknowledge his wrongs and quotes the Bible. Dwight's always been a tool though, so I'm not surprised to hear him caught up in these allegations. It's what happens when you make a Baby Mama out of anything with a pretty frame and face.
Wow. I remember reading that King was impressed with Kidd after he met with him and told ownership he might be the one. Also, signing Frank to that huge contract to be Jason's assistant and then saying he banished Frank when things went sour between Frank and Kidd. Kidd doesn't look good here in my opinion.

Jason Kidd has been rumored to be a douche throughout his career but the general public has had no idea why. I believe we're starting to see why he rightfully earned some of that negativity among his peers.

As much as Lance can be a total bonehead I'd would do this deal in a nanosecond. JR is a complete dick who I can't stand as a player--SO frustrating, a squandering of innate talent playing like a dumbass, ugh--and Shump is gonna get overpaid and isn't nearly the player Lance is nor has the ceiling Lance does.
Plus Lances contract isn't even that bad. It's short I believe too. So yeah, as much as Lance could implode in NYC and the move could backfire you'd have to do it as knicks GM.
Raptors showing just how good a team the Bucks really are.
