I think you guys might be right about Davis being the best player but . . . he's not playing as smart as, say, Durant (or Curry or Paul or Duncan or . . .) on a day-to-day basis . . . so he's gonna, it seems likely, get BETTER. Yikes.

That's a nice bounce back game from the 3-13 night he had last game. Good for him.

Lou Williams and DeMarcus Cousins have been named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 23.

Williams helped the Toronto Raptors to a 3-0 week, finishing fourth in the Eastern Conference with 23.7 ppg and ninth with 2.0 spg.

Cousins led the Sacramento Kings to a 2-1 week and paced the league in rebounding (16.3). He averaged 25.7 points (second in the league) on .577 shooting (30-for-52) and tallied five blocks.

I guess no need to get carried away but

He did garner player of the week award

Hey TKF, hows it going?

Andre Iguodala making a lot of coin to average 6.8 points, 3 REB, 2.4 AST. Warriors are carrying two bad contracts now (David Lee and Iggy)- it'll be interesting to see if they can move them.

Rose getting blasted for constantly getting injured. The problem is people seem to have forgotten that even before the ACL tear he was starting to break down- that season before he was constantly out with back issues, hamstrings, ankles, etc.

I started a thread a while back targeting those 2

Plus acquiring Draymond Green

They were a bad team as well. Good teams beat bad teams.
Gotta start somewhere. Fool fans extropolate the present into the future instead of open to the idea teams can progress.
The west is brutal.

Knicks record bad agaisnt bad teams.

Yeah, Iguodala hasn't been very good this year. Last year he was iffy for stretches but, IIRC, he has some sort of health problem. I haven't heard anything about his health this year . . . but his play, while not awful, hasn't been great.
mreinman @ 11/27/2014 12:40 AM

Yup. He certainly doesn't seem to be having fun. Seems like the team they have, while not competitive, might be fun. Kobe could play a few less minutes than usual and perhaps have fun with Lin and Hill but he's not.
