Kevin Love was invisible- he looks like he has plumpened and isn't moving well- has he still got the back issue?

Half-tempted to start a new topic on the Reno Bighorns . . .

"Then came a cryptic email from a Kings executive, a sudden flight to Sacramento, a meeting in the Kings offices and the strangest proposal. The Kings were conducting an experiment. An audacious experiment. An experiment never attempted by an NBA team. They wanted to see if Grinnell’s offense – with its all-out, pressing style, operated in rotating shifts of players like hockey – would work in their league. To find out, they wanted to install the offense on their NBA Development League team, the Reno Bighorns, and they needed David Jr to be the coach."

Has anyone here watched a Reno Bighorn game? (I've watched some Youtube clips but it's hard to get a sense of the gameplay in highlight clips.) Props to Sacramento. Seems to me some parts of the Grinnell system might be useful, even competitive. You'd need the right players. Regardless, that Guardian article is one of the more amusing basketball articles I've read recently.

That was a phenomenal article. I am going to have to watch one of their games. I have watched some tape of Big Sim but that is about it. It sounds like Wear is doing well there.

Hmmmm, what's a good way to watch a Reno Bighorn game? (I don't remember seeing D-league games on, say, First Row Sports.)

They are all available for free live on youtube. You Tube also has all of the games they have already played. I think if you go to Reno's website you could just watch from there.
sidsanders @ 2/27/2015 11:35 PM
wizards are in free fall mode...
NumberTwoPencil @ 2/28/2015 12:32 AM
Hmmmm, ah, I see. Doh. My stupid. I somehow missed the Reno Bighorns (and what looks like the rest of the D-league) when I glanced at the Youtubes. Thanks, CrushAlot.

A lot of guys who were considered marginal prospects in college have gone to Reno and put up big numbers. I'm sure there games are more excited than ours.

I hope he resign in Portland for the highest possible max deal he can get especially since he knows he is likely "losing money" since the cap is going up.

I see my project Ajinca had another big game when given playing time. He even stayed out of foul trouble.

He had a couple of nice moves in the post..Whiteside who??..There was a Bill Walker sighting..He was taking threes like he was playing horse, three, four feet beyond the arc...

Lowry has been poor and getting worse for 2 months:

January- 37.4% FG, 30.5% 3FG, 6.8 AST, 2.8 TO, 16.6 PTS
February- 34.2% FG, 24% 3PG, 5.3 AST, 2.9 TO, 11.9 PTS

Most of you gave up an unprotected 2018 first rounder for him!

CrushAlot @ 2/28/2015 10:29 PM
Nets up big on the mavs. Flu happens:
DALLAS -- Mavericks center Tyson Chandler will miss his second consecutive game due to a left hip contusion.

Wow. Spotted TurkeyGlue at the clippers bench. I thought he was done.

Griz sign Jaymichael Green to a 3 year deal- I thought we were holding out the last roster spot for him once his ten day deal expired. Another team must have been offering him a two year deal (maybe us) for the Griz to up it to 3yrs.

I wonder who we test out with our last roster spot.
