media is reporting the cavs beat themselves

That's to be expected but 30 assists don't lie. Also the Knicks were digging in on D and that's part if why the CAVS folded.

Got in late, just finished watching on the DVR, what a game! Can't believe we spoiled LeBron's homecoming. Jason Smith really came through, his scoring alone is worth the minutes right now, and his D got a little better. Wear also played well. That tear drop by JR was sick, took some stones to do that. Melo was clutch. It was great seeing other players step up, its the only way this team has a chance of being successful. I was impressed with the job Fisher did. There were a couple of times I thought he should have called a TO, but he was patient and it paid off. Nice win.

What a bunch of haters on TNT they couldn't give the Knicks one bit of credit... Barkley big time knick hater... Reggie big time knick hater, marv spurned by msg for biting a hookers ass... I blame p Ewing for kicking there asses in the 90s
knickscity @ 10/31/2014 5:07 AM
That was a good unexpected win. Solid job in a back to back

The broadcasting drove me nuts, whenever the cavs were sloppy and turning over the ball, the where considered nervous.

Whenever the knicks played a variation of the triangle, we where confused and short of another star

It's not really hating the Knicks. Its more of just bowing down to the King.

If the Knicks start winning and playing the right way, they will get recognition. It will take time to get earn back the respect that they had in the 90's.

I am confident that Fisher is the right coach and PJax is the right head basketball guy. Now they need to find 2 more players that can help Melo a bit more than what he has now.

A real good C and a real good SG would be a nice start. For a C, they need to go outside. For a SG, is it THJ or Shump or JR? Probably not any of them alone but a combination of all 3. It would be really nice if Hardaway could be that guy but so far this season he is not looking good. Shump is ok, if he could shoot better. JR??? Probably not the solution because of his head but he has the talent.

PG with Calderon and Larkin is good enough. PF with STAT, BArgs, Smith, ACY and Wear is good enough too. One of them is bound to have a decent game most nights!

Obviously, some people are not happy. It's okay, you get to root for a Hornets blowout soon enough.

AND THIS IS WHY PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN CAPS NORMALLY ARE BITTER, FOLKS.

I'm not going to get emotionally imbalanced after 1-game

You'd think some here would know how to stay cool

And keep a temperament that reflects a middle ground

For the record in our first 5gms last yr Melo posted 6ast twice, 7 total for the season

Sorry I do not trust certain players based on their complete body of work

If some want to free base dive this team into greatness with no parachute after 1-game

What a shame never forget how you landed last year

Right. Hangovers only count when they agree with your worldview.

Weak.

No it's real simple

Melo has had great success no matter the team

Playing Lebron led teams well in the regular season

I think the record is pretty close to .500 over their careers

What I do like are the 17fga and 6ast

Let's see if Melo can duplicate this stat line 15-20x over the whole season

The 54win team never impressed me much because how we started

Wasn't sustainable for the long run, this is when we were CONTENDERS remember?

Right, 54 wins and making the playoffs is unimpressive and not sustainable

but not making the playoffs once in 4 seasons

is something to never forget.

Got it.
