Well I am half right. Amar'e did have a big game with a double double.
Melo again with just a little over 34 minutes which is great.
I thought the Knicks played a good game. They shot 50%. Didn't turn it over much. Assists and rebs were close. The only thing the really didn't do well tonight was Free throws....10/17
The biggest swing in player performance from Cleveland to tonight looks like Shump. If he played as well tonight, we would have been a different team. He really is a yo-yo this guy. His confidence issues are getting kind of unnerving to watch.
Let's remember this team is gonna only get better. This was a bit of an up and down performance but the D came thru.
Now that was a tough hard fought win. They'll be better for it. Good job Knicks.

Scary that the ball kept coming into his hands on offense down the stretch though. Though Fisher should've done some offense/defense subbing with Stoudemire or Jason Smith.
Fisher has to have better balance in the lineup...2nd qt..Team playing well up 15 then wholesale subs..3rd qt 4 offensive players then 4th, only Melo as an option..What happened to Larkin, he was playing well..Prigs can't hold Walker..etc..Work in progress I guess..I'll take the win..

I know he's got talent but just watching it unfold tonight -- Jefferson looked slow. When he was hitting all those shots on us, I couldn't believe how they didn't show better pride getting up into him, upping the physicality and taking the challenge better against him. They were just letting that dude do whatever he wanted out there during the middle portion of the game.

To be honest he's doing just fine. The starters push the game, the bench try to hold serve, then the starters come back in and complete the task.

The thing is we lose this game last year!!! Gotta put things in perspective. Hornets aren't scrubs and we aren't world beaters. This was a valid win. This team is gonna be shaky at times early in the season.
