ISO is part of the nature of the Triangle. Thing is Jordan saw Tons of ISO but Melo has to adjust to the rhythm of this style and not FORCE it. He's forcing things and it's impacting everyone else too. Having Jose could help him cuz Jose actually understands the system. Jose is the best thinker and passer on the team and the most efficient shooter plus low turnover player too. He's no different than Kidd was for this team.

Kidd was an extremely savy defender but fingers crossed regardless

Yup. Took the weakside of the triangle which resulted in ISO or high PnR. I don't think Melo can run that though. They need to put Melo as the high post in the triangle. This way teams will actually play us honest.

"Can we trade Melo for 3 first round picks and two young players and jut rebuild?"

I'd be so down with that but . . . but . . . really? Is Melo ever going to be tradable? Not to mention that, doh, he has a no-trade clause in his new contract.

Maybe it's possible to sweeten the pot--with, um, I dunno, every player on the team and a stack of JD and the Straight Shot CDs--and trade Melo, assuming Melo agrees to be traded, but . . . well, probably not.

Absolute arseholes the lot of them. At least earn the right to wear what you want however idiotic you look by playing good ball and winning some games. Their collective attitude is a complete embarrassment, they simply don't care.

And so what if Melo has a no trade clause if he truly is miserable and some team wants him then maybe he wants to walk? We can dream, no?
