It's for the ones that will be here. They won't have a learning curve.

1st off they're actually getting better. More importantly you don't know who is staying and you do have to try to develop your players in the system you're intending to run in the future. The coaches need to perfect their skills teaching it too. Fish needs the work as much as the players do.
"You don't draw it up for a three point shot like that" - Derek Fisher
Quote of the century.
And, yeah, this may be the ticket that gets JR out of here.

Accept the point about those staying though personally I hope it isn't many. Also a fair point about the coaches.
Re getting better, who, where, when ??? They looked clueless tonight against amongst the easiest opposition possible. Worst defeat so far.

Their own coach can't name four guys on the Magic! We lost to a guy from Long Island. Not New York City....f***ing LONG ISLAND! You ever play ball against someone from Long Island these days? They stink...they're a loooong way off from Dr. J. That Long Island kid Tobias beatdown a Phil Jackson team.
This was pretty funny, lol
If you cant beat a young tired 2-6 team at home

Wow. No cliche or sound bite there. You could see the frustration on fishes face walking off the court. If Fish feels this way imsgine what phil thinks. Jrs days may be numbered.
Trail Blazers just scored 84pts in the first half against Denver. 84.
We haven't managed 100pts in any game yet this season.

Yeah, that Fish quote really says so much.
Fish is a decent, dude. Fish knows how to say things that really can express his true feelings while not calling out one of his players. Remember Woodson last year? That dope would throw guys under the bus even if they didn't do anything wrong!

I know we lost tonight, but the team played consistent all throughout the game. Other then a couple of faux pas by the Smith brothers and THJ, I thought we played well. Carmelo was not sleepwalking and we had a lot of guys contributing. The head coach needs to make up his freaking mind with the lineup to stop destroying the confidence of our players.
Shumpert or THJ don't end the game on a shot like that
magicTs wrote:We haven't managed 100pts in any game yet this season.
We have the lowest average in the entire NBA. 91 a game.
What does it matter? Even if we do miraculously hit 100, we'll give up 124 that game.

Yep I just looked at that stat, brutal. As you say we'd probably still find a way to lose but its still a big indication of our ineptitude.
Pablo F'd up by getting the ball to JR 30 feet from the basket down only 2
unbelievable

Okay, Mike Woodson
"Did Pablo really have to inbound the ball to JR? You gotta look at that"
Well hopefully soon Fisher will close the games with a Pablo/Jose back court.
