I think things will settle a bit when Calderon returns. I think Jose, Shump, Melo and Sam start from that point on. The only position up in the air woukd be the 4.

Or the 3....depending on where Melo plays.

The problem is Melo can't defend quick 3's
And can't defend power 4's

So it doesn't matter where you put Melo, it's always going to be a defensive liability at the 3 or 4.

Nobody at the 1 can stop their man. And Orlando proved that any 5 will also put up decent stats against us.

Shump at the 2 was our only defensive savior, until he got rosted by D.Will from the nets.

You don't have to be a mathematician to realize we will have defensive liabilities at every position, depending on who we play.

So instead of trying to force a round peg into a square hole, you play to your strengths.

Forget about matching up on defense, that's never going to work with these current players. You have to go back to MDA days and out score your opponent.

Put Melo at the 4 to increase scoring....Then when you need a defensive rebound in crunch time, put Melo at the 3 and bring in a PF like Acy that can rebound.

Once we realize we are not a defensive team, then you will see how Jose coming in the lineup will give us a few more W's.....Me personally, I rather keep losing close games!

Fisher needs to concentrate his teaching on rebounding the ball for now instead of coaching defense. Teach players to attack the basket when the ball goes up, which will help improve our fastbreak as well as our defense. Currently we don't have defensive minded players to work with, so we must capitalize on what they all can do. As you watch these guys play, you will never see them going to the basket when a shot goes up; never. That in my opinion is a mistake. Coach THJ to do just that when he is on the floor, because he is athleticly gifted to accomplish such task. Put it in his head, and it will become second nature after a while. On offense, a shot should not be released until guys are in position to attempt a rebound. Basketball 100

Yet again, another lineup change........excellent coaching by Fisher so far this season. I know we are lacking In The talent department, but for him to continue to change the lineup as much as he as he has does not sit well with me. That tells me he is not ready to be a coach, because he can't pick 5 guys and coach them to do the same shizznit over and over again. This team has been killed on the perimeter every night, and when Dalembert is not on the court, guys just swings the all a couple of times and end up with multiple uncontested layups. For a guy who played good defense in the league for so many years, he sure as hell does not know how to coach it.

This like coach algebra in kindergarten.
This group has no idea how to defend as a team and individually.
And they cannot outscore anybody with one consistent scorer out of 15 players.
This bunch is beyond repair.
The only goal Fish can have is to showcase all players to increase their value for potential trades.
And see if some of the youngsters have some hope in the system.
And this what he does.

Is that really what he is trying to do? I hope so
