He deserves the full max. Cos you know Fishmike said so. And the Knicks are lucky to have a franchise player like him
And we know he had no obligation to leave money on the table because unknowncode said: )((&-1348- ADI1!#412342111 ((9819381 dkdo1##!!!!
We need a breakdown of Wear's
Financial earnings on a playing time scale

I wish there was a team that legitimately showed interest in Melo and giving him max money.
Melo had the Knicks by the balls the whole time

Don't care too much for he homegrown thing(I actually think he was being sarcastic) but I don't know how you're not used to this yet

Allan Houston
Amare, etc
Curry
Jerome James
Those guys sucked balls but they weren't max contracts. When your max cat goes down you are looking at disaster of Arenas/Lewis proportions

Yeah but they got big money
Relative to the time they spent
Playing basketball on the court
He did say "big money"
I need Splat to give us a breakdown of Wear's earnings on PER basis

It has gotten much worse. Game threads used to be a place where guys went to root for the team not hope for misfortune. Probably time to take a break as I can't get used to this.

Melo had the Knicks by the balls the whole time
Only because we voluntarily put them there

yeah, but it truly becomes a case of wanting to tank so badly because you no longer trust the organization to do the right thing. You really do end up wanting failure to translate into a # 1 pick to save the franchise. Winning by losing is just the way many feel now. The reasons are many at this point

Completely agree. Might do the same myself.

I've been consistent throughout. Maybe the reason why it seems like there are less people rooting for this current team is because they are 4-10 and again are stuck with a "team" where Melo is alone. By his own doing AGAIN
F500ONE wrote:dk7th wrote:"wrong side of thirty" may be the mantra for next 390+ games
Hey when you predicted the 30 winish team total
Did you factor Melo laboring throughout the season
For the record I didn't but the 5yr deal was
Always Red Alert risky when you factor the long term
check out my sig. "shouldergate" basically is a term that covers all body parts for a dude with this much mileage. lets face it if you stay in school for another season or two you don't take as much of a beating because you play 35% as many games in a college season as you do in the pros.
