well at least melo is still bulletproof in NYC
lol wow that ref told fish to go home with his timeout

Rookie coach has little to do with it. It's a low IQ team (Melo, Stat, Shump)I believe in Fisher.
how funny would it had been if Melo made the shot but they waived it off and granted the timeout. The knicks are never right. Melo had shot 67% in clutch time but tonight he goes cold.
Fisher is a freaking rookie coach for sure. This offense is way to complicated for the current roster and for the dumb coaches we have as well. Phil better start coaching very soon

it happens all the time. either melo is not aware of timeouts or he's coaching the team himself

Yep, part of the reason why we've gone through so many coaches is that at the end of the day we haven't had players who can execute and make key shots for decades. Honestly, when was the last time we executed a play successfully at a key moment of a game? 1999?
Record is 2-14 in last 16 games.
We're just toying with 'em.
Bring on the Cavs!

Bshizznit, fisher should have called that time out from the time Carmelo rebounded the ball.
Is there a PnR defense clinic the knicks can attend?

he was calling it the whole time. Rookie official had a brain fart and melo kept playing
Oh and Melo can't turnaround and say time out?

Back during Linsanity, we needed a 3 against the Wolves and D'antoni drew up a play that got Novak open for a 3. Sure it relied on Tyson to commit a pretty blatant moving screen but it still worked.

Had the same thought myself.
Melo did not have the legs to dribble all the way up the court and launch a 3.

yea he just ignored Fisher. Fisher was calling for the 20 the whole time
being his 12th season Melo should automatically know to advance the ball to half court and call timeout. At least he would've got a breather and set shot

Yeah and even with that aside, if you're going to argue that the ref heard Fish call a timeout and ignored it then Melo certainly heard it and ignored it as well like you said.
