Knicks · How the Knicks Practically Handed Kemba Walker a Game Winner (page 1)

Hey Knicks fans, today I analyzed the glaring defensive errors New York made on Kemba Walker's game winner last night. Let me know what you thought of the play, and thanks for watching.

It was awful live. No excuse for not taking the foul. Fish is looking like a rookie coach.

This people are using circles but Knicks are using triangles.
As Kemba was not in triangle but in straight line to the basket Knicks lost him...
They need to get him perpendicular and using the quadrant of hypotenuse is equal to sum of the quadrant of 2 legs...

It was weird. Pablo kind of grabbed Kemba but not enough for a foul to call and after that he had a clear path to the basket. That was coaching. I like Fisher and I think he will figure things out. He has a hall pass this year it seems.

I think people are willing to give Fisher a pass on the offense. I think fans realized that it was going to be a work in progressive. But the defense has been laughable. We look as lost now on D as we did with Woodson. This is after Fish said he would hold dudes accountable. That defensive lineup at the end of the Hornets game was a joke and Fish needs to step it up.

Bad coaching, dumb players, but come on even when we can all see how inept our coverage was, how can Melo just stand there and watch?

Lack of intelligence is a noted deficiency. If you're lacking in brains, then your last stand is effort.

Melo could give a chit. Seriously. He was the last line of defense and he had ample time to gather himself and go up to contest the shot. He saw Kemba coming. It is not even debatable he knew what he should do. That's not an IQ thing (or is it, is he that fuking rock dumb stupid?) The guy just doesn't care. A terrier has more pride in its ability to lick itself than the pride Melo shows in being a Knick.

In depth analysis, this time inolving dog's pride and private parts. Tell us how you really feel, Splat.

I suppose the rest of Melo's stat line can be compared to what, your pet gerbil's innate reflexes?

Go ahead. Shovel us some gold about how Melo was a true warrior on that last play. Then tell us how his stats are the most important thing, not what he does when the game is on the line. Go ahead. We're waiting.

No, explain to me how he managed to not care his way to that ultimate moment of not bothering to lick himself. Please, I need to understand how his stats and the previous 48 minutes of his game are all part of some grand cashmere scheme about showing how he truly has no pride in the uniform.

Give us some more meaningful comparitives to the animal kingdom. Or maybe some clever gifs.

Yeah, okay. Good point.

The problem was Prigioni he shades way too much to one side when he shouldn't. This isn't the spanish league, Pablo, a young talented nba pg is just going to take the opening Prigioni gives him every time, weak hand or not.

My Take: If you're tanking in NYC, you can't LOOK like you don't give a shit. You have to make a good show of trying to win the game. But with a 1 point lead in the last couple of seconds, Melo HAD to let Kemba drive to the rim. If he blocked the shot, the Knicks would have won the game, and THAT is not what a superstar looking for draft talent should do.

IMO, Melo made the exact right non-play there (although he could have at least made a token effort to not appear to be doing the tank thang).

Go Melo go! The rest of these chumps are outta here, so maximize your draft potential and let's build a winner up in here.

perhaps this is directed to all who really think this is a planned tank job masked as trying to win... i cant tell who really buys its a real tank operation

why play anthony 40 mins in that game coming off recent back probs and a knee issue all season if this is a tank job? run the expansive asset into nothing before they even get to make a pick next year?
