Knicks · I'm convinced that JR and Shump are not fully healthy (page 1)
knicks1248@ 12/9/2014 10:00 PM
There is no other reason that 2 of the most athletic players in the league are not going to the hole. I haven't seen JR dunk a ball in god knows how long. Even wide open fast breaks, he just does a simple layup. Were talking high flying JR, even his (once in a blue moon)layups in traffic, have no lift, which is why he doesn't get the calls.
Shump has 4 dunks for the season.
I just can't believe two of the most athletic players in league, all of a sudden stop penetrating and dunking.
F500ONE@ 12/9/2014 10:07 PM
I'm convinced they've never been healthier
StarksEwing1@ 12/9/2014 10:11 PM
I dont think health has much to do with it, both are just inconsistent players
Knicks1969@ 12/9/2014 10:17 PM
They are both garbage

not fully healthy.. may be true Also believe JR and Shumpert are full_y of sh_'t! is why there offensive play is of NO help to any NBA team. Shump and JR 2 vet guys on knickerbockers whom bring nothing
arkrud@ 12/9/2014 10:38 PM
You men not 100% mentally healthy? Probably, but this is bad taste to go at mentally deficient people. Have mercy man...
Splat@ 12/9/2014 10:41 PM
My primary disappointment is both guys must be at their lowest points value-wise. We're stuck with JR and the window to get something for Shump was squandered. Way to go Knicks management!

What is has to do with current management. This dudes are around here for a while and for a reason. No one wanted them ever... even for bag of chips.
H1AND1@ 12/9/2014 10:44 PM
I'm with the contingent who simply aren't convinced they are very good. Sadly. It's mind boggling that Shumpert is so atrocious at the rim. Wtf. JR is JR, trying to integrate the unselfish tenets of the triangle probably shorts some wiring in his brain causing something like when a computer is low on RAM and a graphic heavy website loads and it just slows to a crawl or just freezes. JR taking a silly jumper is like his CRTL-ALT-DELETE.

well larkin would have only cost about 1.5 million which is peanuts

Yeah, whether we get anything now for Shump can't be the focus. That's a missed opportunity, but at least you don't have to build a team with him on it. His only chance at having a longer career is landing with a top organization that utilizes him well off the bench. He is not a starter.

Larkin won't be getting paid big bucks by anyone. If we wanted to keep him, it will probably still be an option.
Splat@ 12/9/2014 10:59 PM
Wally is slamming Shump in post-game. They basically said Shump's reputation for defense is not being earned any longer.
gunsnewing@ 12/9/2014 11:04 PM
Maybe Shump was told he will survive the purge but he must tank. Knicks started well as did Shump than when it became evident to Phil that we must tank players like Melo, Shump & THJ wear given orders to tank.
Amare, JR & company were not given those orders because they won't be here. So they are still trying.
How bout that Zen?!

It is like that, only different.
Phil doesn't risk giving them verbal instructions. Leave no trails.
Phil communicates his intentions like Magneto and telepathically guides the players to do his bidding.
DJMUSIC@ 12/9/2014 11:13 PM
Maybe JR, Shump and rest of knickerbockers don't get enough practice

The order is simple - Be smart. But not everybody can... Here comes selection criteria.
