Yeah. He had Walsh's ear and was a big part of the mess and mistakes that were made during Walsh's tenure.

D'antoni probably didn't want to coach defense
But instead went after players in the last 2 drafts
Who he thought would play it naturally[Hill & Shump]
Walsh historically was never really a good drafter

And then Shumpert had a very inspiring rookie season defensively. He has not progressed. It's everyone's guess if its him or the Knicks not developing him properly. I say the latter. Kind of hard for Shump & THJ to fully develop when the organization is in bed with JR Smith. Very difficult to split 48mins between 3 shooting guards

Shump has not lost his starting spot since being drafted
If anything the Knicks have been in bed with him
Problem with Shump he's just not that good
This could very well be the case with THJR
But now we'll get a larger sample to review him as a starting 2
If he doesn't step up in a large way 86 his can too
I want winners on this team and youth
Not any 1 particular separate of winning
As fans we have to get over our love affairs for individual players
It's becoming way past pathetic when any player
That has caused us to go head over heels for them has produced nothing
But glitches of sparking flames only for it to die out over and over
There's nothing redeemable about this roster and I mean nothing
Would like to keep guys like Wear and THJR but if there's a
