These are my top ten complete waste of money and space while they were knicks, I mean absolutely nothing from them.

I don't know if any one can top that list.

Penny and Tim should not be on the worst team. I know people don't like Thomas but he was a good player that never reached his potential and Hardaway was a shell of himself when he was here but was a very good role player.

+1

STARTERS
Chris Duhon...PG
Raymond Felton...G
Jared Jefferies...F (his first stint as a Knick)
Andrea Bargnani...F/C
Eddy Curry...C

ROTATION
Toney Douglas...PG
Shandon Anderson...SG
Bill Walker...SF
Fredick Weis...C
Jerome James...C

The criteria for my selections is based off of on-court performances as well as opportunity costs. The latter is the reason why Raymond Felton, Shandon Anderson, Fredrick Weis Bargnani and Curry made the list, despite having some decent moments for us. The other guys just flat out sucked.

Tim thomas was probably the biggest upset for me, he had the potential to be the best all around player in the league, at 6 10", he was fast, could pass, shoot mid-range, 3's, slash, dunk with best of them, he was long enough to defend, and rebound, but he flat I refuse to put in the work to get better, and much more consistent. A totally waste of talent, the dude was LAZY LAZY LAZY!!

Penny was making like 16 million, shot worse over a season than kidd did in his last last 2 months as a knick. I mean he had nothing left in his tank, he was a brutal bad player as a knick. As far as a good role player, i doubt it, he was never a leader, not to say he was a bad guy or anything, just not a vocal type leader that was needed.

BasketballJones @ 12/15/2014 6:09 PM
Quincy Acy
Carmelo Anthony
Amare Stoudemire
Jose Calderon
Tim Hardaway Jr.

Tim Thomas was a victim of Lenny Wilkens' outdated philosophy. If you slid him to the 4, he became a pretty good player like he did those few months with the Suns.

This has been part of the problem the past decade (From a Channing Fry interview):

Q-David Lee joked last year about his rookie year and your rookie year on the Knicks needing a 30 for 30 because it was the worst chemistry in the history of the NBA. Is that a good idea?

A- That would be a great idea. But I don't think that you could get anybody to talk about some of the stories. It was crazy. It was a crazy, crazy year, man. I mean, I've been in the league for nine years. That was an extremely unique year.
